I know it's just a rumour but wtf if it turns out to be true.

As I said in my earlier post, if either of the "Twilight Kids" (Rob, or Taylor) are cast for this role...I will not see this movie.

      They are both terrible actors.

Yeah I won't be watching if his weird looking *** is playing Spiderman.

            LOL at this
However, the 23-year-old is said to be facing serious competition from Michael Cera of Superbad and Juno fame.
if any of that article is true, this movie will be a disaster

              Cera? Really? Are they stupid?

If this is the case than they should have just stuck with Tobey and the crew.

That dude could play a really young sabertooth in Wolverine: The Middle school years but not as Spiderman

I will be surprised if this actually turns out better than Spiderman 3.

Dumb Question but is Spiderman supposed to be in the Avengers movie?

One would think not mainly because if there's going to be an Avengers movie it should have the classic lineup or variation of it.

One of the biggest smacks in the face honestly from the beginning. She needs to look better than that.

On a side note, Cera is a better fit in my opinion because of how goofy he is. The only thing is I can't see him droppingthe goof persona regardless. It would make the connection between Peter Parker & Spiderman so hard to connect. Definitely have to say that whatever they do now has to be better than that flaming pile they call the third installment. Personally, I'd love to see more of a dark setting while retaining the humor. A nice split between Dark Knight in seriousness and humor that would be seen/read in Spidey comics. Glad I'm not basing my livelihood on making movies.

If they want to tell a good story with Pete in HS they should consult Brian Michael Bendis since his run on Ultimate Spider-Man is outstanding and thats where Spider-Man is during the story.

Actually, they should consult writers in the Spider-man world anyway so they can get the tone and feel right.
