I don't have a screen protector on our original iPad.

Me either on the iPad 2...I just have a smart cover and am careful. I got ghost armor for the back of it, but didn't want the screen covering making it feel not as good.

As long as you're careful while using it (and closing the cover when done) you shouldn't have a big issue with scratches...

Apple is hosting a media event today at 10am PST. It is rumored that they will reveal a new iPad and possibly a new Apple TV.

I am an original iPad owner and am anxious to see if this is worth the upgrade. Live blogs of the event can be found on the following links once it starts:

Lucky bastard. I'd love to own stock from a few years back.

In other news...I'm more interested in the rumored new AppleTV. Definitely gonna skip this generation's iPad since I have the iPad 2.

I said I would skip the ipad 2 since I bought one.

I see myself selling ipad2 and buying the ipad3.

I love these tablets so much..use them for hours and hours every day since purchase.

With that quad core it is only a matter of time till we start seeing AAA games made for this.

All we need is a "Game pad" of sorts.....

Didn't upgrade to the 2, but this is a lock.

I skipped 1 (since I refuse to ever by first gen Apple products ever again), but picked up 2.

The 3 is a nice upgrade, but no real need for me to upgrade. Maybe when the 4's come out, depending on what the updates are then.

This is seriously tempting for those who don't have iPads, or those with iPad 1's....

Ehh, not at all.

Handheld gaming isn't a huge market anyway, but can't compare the Vita to a Tablet. Different games marketed at different people.

I think they are trying to get that crowd. Would not be surprised at all to see more "Hardcore" titles showing up in the App store.
