The premiere was awesome. I've haven't read the books and pretty much stayed away from all trailers too. By doing so, I had no idea what the show was about. I was very surprised by the ending. Good stuff. Can't wait until next week.

                    I want Emilia Clarke, LOL.

I loved it, it was everything I hoped for and more. My wife however, did not. From the gore, the violence, the "excessive" nudity, and of course the ending. She'll try and muscle through a few more, but otherwise, I might have to enjoy them alone.

Great, great adaption of the book so far.

Yeah, the opening got me caught in it. I came in with the mindset of, 'If I don't see anything interesting in the first 15 minutes I'm cutting it off'. Luckily, that opening season was enough for me to continue. I hope this show keeps it up. I'll continue to watch.

The beginning was cool, but got a little slow with character introductions. I didn't read any books, but I don't get the significance of the line "Winter is coming" someone please explain to me . if its too much a spoiler even PM I was a bit confused on that. I hope that little boy was jacked up . something tells me he ended up fine.

"Winter is coming" are the Stark family words. A warning perhaps.

I haven't seen the first episode yet and I think that explaining its significance is a spoiler since I'm not sure how much was shown in those first 15 minutes in comparison to the book.

Count me in as being instantly hooked. I thought the show did a good job outlining who was who and the relationship between certain characters. One thing I'm not sure of, is the show going for realism or mysticism or a combination of both?
