Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
I can't think of one ending to an episode where I didn't say "Oh F" and then drop another f-bomb because I have to wait a week to see the next episode.
This show is easily the best ever on HBO. It's already surpassed Deadwood IMO.GT: Herkyalert

The amazing thing about it...books 2 and 3 are quite a bit better than book 1.Comment

Game of Thrones...WHY U BLOW MY BRAINS OUT ALL THA TIME?!?!
Drogo is a scary mofo. Only thing missing at the end was him saying FATALITY.
And like Robb, I am quite interested to find out if the Lannisters really do **** gold.Comment

The Wire and The Sopranos are my favorite shows ever. However, I could see Game of Thrones easily making a run at the title. It's the quickest hour of the week for me, no question about it.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
I haven't read a entire Book in 10 years. (sad I know) After being immersed in the 1st 7 episodes, I was compelled to the Nearest Barnes & Nobles. Needless to say I just completed reading Game of Thrones & headed back to pick up A Clash of Kings tomorrow.Psn: Plex-07Comment

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
I rank my favorite books in the series as:
Book 3 Part 2
Book 3 Par 1
Book 2
Book 1
Book 4
2 is absolutely massive but full of detail. 3 is just amazing on so many levels. 4 was really a step down because it only covers half the continent (where is the fun in that?) July really can't come quick enough for Book 5.Comment

I've never been a big reader of fantasy novels (though I do like the genre in other mediums) so this will be quite a first for me to read something so, well, ****.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
I'm considering buying this as well (Kindle on iPad). I've read a sample of the first book and I'm enjoying it so far. Should I go ahead and pull the trigger? Also, for those who've read the books, will this affect my enjoyment of the show if I read ahead before season 2 starts?

Re: Game of Thrones (HBO Sunday nights @ 9PM EST)
So I mentioned previously that I had ordered the books, they have since arrived. I'm about to start the first book, I'm trying to decide if I should read past the first book or not. I've been loving the first season without having read the books, but I don't think I'll be able to resist.Comment
