    Re: HTC EVO 4G

I am loving this phone. I followed the directions on PPC geeks and I am getting more than acceptable battery life. My phone is smooth as butter and it is only going getting better because of the open source nature and all the talented hackers that are coming from the winmo community,

This is the real thing. I just downloaded the skyfire beta and watching flash on my phone. If you are on the fence this phone is more than worth it.

Is anyone else having trouble with the DroidLight app on their Evo?

It downloaded for me just fine and when I open the program it says to touch the lightbulb on the screen for it to turn on. I touch the bulb and it does nothing...

Try using "LED Flashlight". Usually the LED light apps are phone specific. They'll drop one for the EVO in no time.

those light programs are useless really. Just turning on your phone lights up the room by itself no lie. I remember when me and my better half was driving to Vermont and it became night time. I was browsing on my droid and she was like what the hell is that bright light, it is blinding me, LOL. And I just had the phone on browsing facebook. But that screen alone lit up the van.

true, but they are great to use with the camcorder since it EVO doesnt have an auto light for the camcorder.

Such a shame that great looking phone is wasted on a network like Sprint. Their service is easily the worst I've had to deal with. Weak *** cell towers.

I never had a problem with the service in my 8 years with them. Glad I exchanged the P.O.S. phone that is Pro 2 for this one.

Its amazing DTX...I live 5mins away from the Sprint store, where my service becomes immaculate. From home? Absolute garbage.

Exactly where do you live ? Is it just inside the house or is it right outside your house too that you can't get a signal ? I know in this new house I live in, I can't get a signal inside of the house 90% of the time. But outside just a foot out the door I get clear signal.
