That was the plan, but I definitely forgot all about that.

Maybe with all the problems that came up, they did as well.

I wonder if that campfire was the reason they got attacked

Yeah, I think getting Glenn back/dealing with that situation was more pressing, and then the camp attack was more important.

I'm sure we'll see that story played out next week.

Wasn't there a specific time of day they were supposed to turn the walkies on?

              Speaking of 28 Days Later...

I finally watched the first episode this weekend, and then proceeded to watch the rest of the episodes as well... I'm hooked, the show is awesome. But was anyone else bothered by the story starting off exactly like 28 Days Later?

It's no biggie, I was just kind of surprised to see that it was almost exactly the same.

Maybe 28 Days Later started off as the comics instead of the other way around.

                Anyone know which came first?

                              coincidence...

"Welcome to my life seven years ago. It was complete coincidence. I saw 28 Days Later shortly before the first issue of Walking Dead was released. That first issue came out in October of 2003 and 28 Days Later was released in the States in June of 2003. So we were working on our second issue by the time I saw it. It was going to be a matter of somehow trying to restage the entire first issue, because it was a very similar coma opening. I made a decision—which I pretty much regret at this point—I said, “You know what? It’s so different [from that point on], I will probably never hear anything about this.” And I was wrong. It was a little annoying. But great minds think alike, right?" said Kirkman.

Pretty good episode, just wondering why the mexicans didn't grab the bag of guns the first time, instead they grab the poor asian kid. that made no sense to me.
