I was looking at the projector, and it only has a Headphone Audio Out Jack (Stereo 3.5mm from my research). My question is, is there a better solution than going from 3.5mm Stereo from the Projector to the 3.5mm on the Soundbar? Like an adapter to Optical or something?
You only want the Acer handling the video. What do you have hooked up to it? Blu ray player? PS3? 360? Your sources are what you plug up to the soundbar...preferably to the optical or coaxial inputs. Those will give you digital sound.

You will either need this (or brand of your choosing): http://www.amazon.com/Cables-29115-M...al+audio+cable or

Anyone use this TV for gaming. I heard it was pretty good but want some opinions in here before I take the leap.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
I picked up a 47" Vizio a couple of years back for gaming and TV. Older technology at 60hz but absolutely no lag. No problems with Vizio as I have two other panels and they are fine. $650 at BB sounds like a good price so long as there is no problem with lag.

I would go for the Panasonic s60 if the room isn't very bright

Thanks Gamecock. I was just thinking ease of use, if the TV had an "audio out", that I could just have 1 cable to control all of my sound to the receiver. Regardless, I have some optical cables, so I'm good to go. I'll go from the source directly to the soundbar.

I need some help... I saw this on Walmart.com when looking at this TV... The online price is $380 but in the checkout the TV is $268...

Does the bolded part mean the TV is garbage or something that Walmart is selling for that much less?

The bold statement is independent of the TV being garbage or not. It may or may not be garbage, and their lowered price will not be a measure of said garbageness.

So to answer your question... nah. Still might be garbage though.

It's crazy how much the price has dropped on large screen tvs. A few years ago $1000 would get you a 42" 720p LCD or plasma on black friday. Now that same $1K will get you a 70" 1080P LED.

You still can't get a really good TV for $1000 though. A decent one? Yes. An actual GOOD one? Nope.

The fact that you can get ANY flat panel HDTV at 70 inches for $1000 speaks to how much prices have dropped. Of course you'll pay more for mid-tier to upper tier offerings.

This set is $450 at BB now. Response time is 8ms according to this spec sheet. Dunno how that relates to a TV but that might be a bit on the slow side for a computer monitor. I think Walmart is selling this for the same price. You have a problem with lag you can return it to Walmart no problems. I am seriously considering picking this up myself.

How do these smart tvs compare to a roku? i have the older xs model at it's pretty snappy after the update. apparently the roku 3 is a lot faster than that.

Cnet agrees with that (along as you don't care about 3D which is true for most people).
