It's a known recent issue. Hard reset your tv and that should do the trick. Hold down the power button until the SUHD sign comes up on your screen then let it go and try again.. I'm sure an update will be released to fix it.

I actually had that issue with the 65KS8000....After about a week, the top right and left portions of the bezel were visibly separating from the set....and in a dark room I could see the light coming out of each corner....

Fortunately, I bought my unit at Costco and they took it back...no questions asked. So if Costco is even remotely an option, with the 90 day return policy, go that route...

But the PQ while I had the unit was awesome! My wife was even urging me (so that we didn't have to pack up the monster into the box since it was a pain in the arse to get out) that the bezel issue is something that wouldn't bother her, but I figured at the time we bought it, it was over $2k, so it was something that I felt shouldn't be the case for a tv at that price range....

        @All -

Any of the OS brethren have this Vizio and share their personal experience:

The Vizio P Series 2016 has one of the best picture quality we have seen. It really shines in a dark room. It isn't OLED and it won't please everyone - especiall...

For the past couple of weeks, I have been contemplating the LG OLED 65c6p, but couldn't pull the trigger and spend over $3k on a tv when I could build out a 120 inch screen / projector setup for that price....And now, Best Buy raised the price back up to $3,500, so that was my sign from God to move on. LOL!

Seems that this Vizio with HDR10 AND Dolby Vision is the way to go.....

        Thoughts?

How much does it cost to become a Costco member and what is the Costco price of the TV right now if you can see for me? It's $1597 at Best Buy, Amazon and Walmart so just wondered if it's that at Costco as well.

I planned to buy at an online vendor I found or else buy at Bestbuy but if it was worth it to join Costco and buy that route I might consider that.

$1579.99 for both curved and flat versions.....

90 Day Return Policy....If I'm not mistaken, you can even return games within the 90 day period....Consoles, I believe, are not limited to 90 day return period....Nice perks as well....

If it's the same price I may get it but if it's like it typically is, $200 more, I won't even think about getting.

Got it,...just was asking cause I knew you were interested in the Hisense at first, of course I see your budget got got increased, that's great man, well enjoy whatever you get [emoji106]

Yeah here is what happened. My plan was to buy a $500 Hisense 55" for the living room. Then save and next year about this time buy my $1500-1700 Samsung KS8000 for my game room.

But the wife and I went to Best Buy and she got a bit angry that I felt the need to upgrade both TVs and said just get one for your game room and she said "the Samsung looks far better than the other ones anyways".

So I told her ok, then new plan: Buy the Samsung KS8000 for my game room in a couple of months and/or when I save up $1500 and then on Black Friday or near the end of the year or next year get a Hisense for the living room.

She agreed to that and the more I thought about it I liked the idea of just skipping right to getting my tv for my room first anyways, LOL.

I honestly think she just told me that to get me to forget about the idea for a good while or such but ummm..I didn't.

Had this tv and it's a good tv, but with many limitations. First, I hated the touch screen tablet as a remote. It was extremely annoying casting everything from the tablet and the limited amount of apps. 2) Only 1 HDMI port has really low input lag which is input #5, but that input doesn't support HDR. So for HDR gaming you're forced to use HDMI ports 1-4 and the input lag is in the mid 40's. 3) The picture looked great at night when the room was dark but during the day it didn't look that good, and this tv has a lower color gamut and it's obvious when watching HDR stuff. The tv is massively thick for today's standards. Also, cable tv and other low quality stuff looks very soft and not too good. The internal upscale wasn't as good as SONY, Samsung etc. They also had a ton of issues getting HDR10 to work properly on the gaming consoles.

I ended up buying the KS8000 and using it side by side for a couple of days and the KS8000 was obviously superior even though the Vizio P is Full array local dimming and the ks8000 is edge lit. I've had my ks8000 for months and the back hasn't come off at all. I've seen some people complain about this but I don't think the problem is as bad as some make it seem.

The costco model is a different color. I believe that's the only difference.

Thanks for the mini-review man! Greatly appreciated.....

I really thought the PQ when I had the KS8000 was awesome! If only I didn't experience the bezel issue, I definitely would have kept it....

Question....what is this about forced ads on samsung tv's? I read somewhere that if you don't allow it to broadcast ads of some sort, it will not allow smart apps to be used? Or something along those lines?

I am honestly tempted about giving the KS8000 another try...actually considering the KS85000 since they are at the same price (heard that the curved version doesn't suffer from the bezel issue as much)....

But I was really impressed with the Vizio and seems like it is built like a tank...although these days, if your built like a tank you can't be as thing as a piece of notebook paper!

I'll say this the vizio P is not a bad tv at all. Actually the vizio P does a few things better than the ks8000. It has better motion blur and has dolby vision. On the ks8000 you only get HDR10. It's a FALD tv so there's a lot less light bleeding and blooming. HDMI port #5 is the lowest input lag without HDR on any tv available. It's like 16ms and barely any motion blur or judder. The ks8000 doesn't have the best motion blur and some people are more sensitive to this than others. I notice it on some games. It's just some of the stuff I mentioned before were deal breakers for me.

I agree with Scott on Sony having the best tv processors. I'm very intrigued with Sony's OLED tv and can't wait to hear on the price. I've been also reading on AVSforum many LG OLED owners complaining about the terrible motion blur on their sets. LG's OLED + SONY's Image Processing = Best of both worlds..., and its what I can't wait to see.
NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.
