The LG C6 is 3d and probably the best 3d tv out there. Plus you get 4K and hdr. The only negative is it’s curved. Doesn’t bother me too much though.

I want to pull the trigger on either the B7 or C7, but I’m wondering if I should wait another year before I jump on OLED. My reasoning is waiting for OLEDs to reach 1000 nits of brightness for HDR content. But having zero motion blur with the deepest blacks has me wanting to jump now.

NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.

Not sure why Rtings gave this tv a 8.2 for HDR gaming then. At least 4K looks really good on this set.

TCL P series users what settings are you using and do I have to turn hdr/uhd on or is it automatically on?

I have the B7 and it really is fantastic. Horizon looks jaw dropping on it. No issue with burn in yet. Have seen some vertical banding though, but only on some menu screens (white Netflix intro screen). Also see some crushed grays in the sky when the weather in Horizon is overcast, but that may be due to my tv settings not being properly calibrated.

It automatically detects HDR content and pop up an HDR logo in upper right corner of TV for a couple seconds. You can do adjustments from there but to verify hdr you will see backlight and contrast will be maxed out at 100.

Oh and be sure your HDMI input is set to 2.0 (Not 1.4 or auto)

This is important information for me as I'm looking at the 49" S405. Many reviews speak high of it. Could you explain "can only accept the signal?"

It doesn't have a wide color gamut which is needed for HDT.

Does the P-Series TCL have a "wide color gamut"? Like this one:

I'm a little leary of these TCL sets but I read good things.

I've only had it for a couple days but it's a great tv and a steal at it's price range compared to some high end models.

Low input lag, hdr on rtings ratings are great, wide color gamut , jump on it you won't regret it.

FYI the P series 605/607 are the same set just different remotes, I'd order the 607 remote from Amazon if your into plugging headphones into the remote.

I happened to get the 607 on sale for 50 bucks off and that evened the cost. The fancier Roku remote is pretty nice, not sure if it's 50 bucks nice or not though, but glad i have it.

I thought I had read that the C7 had some advantages to input lag as well, maybe not.

The C7 is cheaper than the $1800 quoted a few posts up now. Think it's gone down $100. I don't even need a new TV but am tempted to get that.

I have the B7. Great tv but does come with a few issues. Vertical banding is pretty apparent in some cases. Plus just ran into a dead/stuck green pixel [emoji107]. Only shows up in certain shots but can’t seem to remove it. Any tips?
