That's a lot of glasses. Edit: The glasses are sold out. You'll have to call Amazon and get a $30 credit for the glasses to purchase when they come back in stock.
Thanks for this, this was the tv I was looking for, albeit in the 55" version so I went ahead and ordered!!! Should be here Thursday afternoon.

hey does anyone know if the delivery guy for Amazon will allow me, and help me, to take the tv out and put it on the stand and verify if it has a picture before leaving?

I don't know. I didn't ask and the guy didn't offer when mine was delivered. He just brought it in, I unboxed and set it up myself.

They will if you ask them. Make sure to tip the guy if he does though!

Ok, that's what I was thinking, asking him to do so and if he does tipping him $20

Normally they go as far as doing it for you anyway, unless Amazon's distributors are different. They won't leave until they make sure you can get power and a connection, otherwise there's always the chance of complaining it doesn't work and having to go through that "return" hassle once they're gone. They often tend to bridge that gap if they can.

There's nothing wrong with offering some gratuity still, though.

I've never had that happened, they just deliver the tv and leave. I've never asked them to help but they've never offered either.

Maybe because I researched through retail, but both Best Buy and Fry's offered to do everything for free, unless they had to take it up a flight of stairs.

Glad to hear. There is more good news. You need to call the Amazon customer service and get a price adjustment.

The price for the bundle has dropped to $977.99

Great to see a fellow OS'er looking out for me but I got the 55" model and it appears to have actually gone up. I got it for $1549 and it's $1679 today. If you (or anyone) spots the LM6700 55" model for less than $1549 please do PM me though and I'll call Amazon!! Thanks again Gamec0ck!

My delivery guy took the top off the box, checked the screen to make sure it wasn't cracked, plugged it to make sure it power up and left. I had to put the stand on the bottom of the TV and place it up on my entertainment shelf.

Any recommendation on a 37-42"? I'm looking ideally for 120 HZ but only looking to spend around $500 or so.
