    The m series is amazing.

I actually just the ordered the 60" M Series tonight. It will be arriving on Wednesday.

Its primary use with be watching sports and playing ps4. How do you like it so far? Any motion blur or input lag when gaming?

I'm hearing that unless you have the latest update you'll have some issues with motion blur with sports..

It's an LED, you'll have motion blur no matter what.

(unless you're saying the actual motion blur is having its own issues)

I'm been watching my 60" M series for around a week now and the picture is fantastic. Motion blur I've noticed but its nothing crazy or distracting. Once you calibrate the picture its a pretty damn nice TV for the price.

Now this is on the original firmware, I've read it improves with the latest firmware patch, I've just yet to add the TV to my network is only reason I haven't patched it yet. That is what I might do this evening.

Phobia, just an FYI if you didn't know this already. VIZIO sends automatic updates to TV's once the TV is connect to a network.

You have no control over the update process. Might want to check into what the firmware updates they've sent out have fixed or broken before connecting to your network.

Yup I read about it a day or two after buying the TV. I can't remember off the top of my head what it fixed, but the consensus was it improved the TV. Now I just have to add the TV's mac address to my router this evening and wait for the update.

Got the TV today. Am really liking the picture, but am having one issue. My picture settings/mode won't save. After five minutes, the tv automatically changes back to "vivid". Any suggestions?

Make sure it is in "Home" mode and not "Shop" or "Demo" mode, assuming there are such settings on there. Check your Setup options and confirm that there is something like that you can switch.

I'll go a Google search right now to see if those features exist on your set.

EDIT: Well, doing that quick search gave me this, but I'd think you would see it if you knew you had it on.

I'm guessing that's partly the issue, though.

Star Wars in 4K Blu Ray would be the absolute best marketing scheme possible... Of course I see it being like the Avatar 3D release. Didn't that movie only work in 3D on Samsung TVs or something like that?

You were correct. It was in "shop" mode. Had to go to settings, and reset to defaults. I appreciate your help.

                        Hey guys

At the moment I'm playing my new ps4 on our tv upstairs. It's just a simple lg lcd 37" which is fine for me nothing fancy. The wife is getting to the point where I think she just wants me to get a tv for downstairs to play the ps4 on,lol

I'm thinking something about the same size. Size isn't important to me as the qua,it's of the picture. If you guys would be able to recommend a decent tv that would be great. I hear guys talk about gaming monitors but am not quite sure what they are lol. As far as budget I don't really have one just going to start looking. Also I'm in Canada so the price will be different from you fellas in the states

I think I'm asking this question in the right spot now, I asked yesterday while half asleep on the couch in the ps tv thread

How far away is your couch from where the TV will be?

                              Hey guys

I was at the store ( don't know if we are allowed here to say the name ) but the big box electronic store. I had been eyeing a small 24 in led in insignia for a bit now thinking that would be the perfect size for my PC desk downstairs which I barely use no I have a iPad and laptop. I picked it up as it was on sale.

After work I cleaned up the old desk and now have a little area in the rec room to play. I still have to oraganise a bit and I have a off day tomorrow so might do that.

The colors are so bright and vivid, I actually have to turn them down a bit or I will have a headache in no time, lol

I know this is a question that depends on tv and personal choice but as a starting point how do you guys set the prefect color choice in your eyes. I tend to want screens on the dark side of things and colors somewhat toned down. But I have no idea on what I'd adjust to do that.

Thanks for any help guys I appreciate it

You can say the name of retailers.

If there are pre-set screen settings make sure it's off of "vivid, demo, torch, whatever they call it", and on something that's just "standard". Manufacturers pre-set it to an over the top brightness so that it stands out in a brightly lit store.

There should be a brightness and color setting that you can adjust. Would help if you posted a picture of the menu, or the model of the TV.
