I have it too and love it.

I'm thinking about buying another set for my manroom, especially now that the price is down $200 since I bought mine.

I'm going to pull the trigger on a set tomorrow, but I think I'm not getting a 4k. I'm just not buying into the 4k hypejust yet.

Any one have any 4k bluray's yet? Do 4k bluray's have the same special features as the regular bluray's? I don't have 4k tv yet but I was just wondering because I think when bluray first started years ago I think some of the bluray's where lacking in that.

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread

So, I didnt wanna break the bank on a new TV I really didn't, I did my research and bought this set over last weekend and Its really tuned out phenomenal for me, I messed with the settings for about 4 days straight until I settled on what I have my settings on now.

Don't care for 4k at all at this point nor do I need or needed a smart TV, I have everything running through , XBONE. Moved my LG 50" plasma to the bedroom and this new 55" in the living room with my Xbone.

Needless to say I paid a tad over $500 for it. Some reviews say its not good for gaming I call BS on that as my set has no Motion Blur at all and looks great.

Anyway this is what I bought, great TV.

                and I trust LG always.

Such a bummer that the industry completely turned their backs on plasma sets. I've had my PN64D7000 for over 4 years now and it still has a better picture than any LED display I've seen.

Yup, playing on mine right now. Never getting rid of this one as long as it delivers (mine is 59" though).

4K was too expensive for plasma technology, sadly enough. I won't dip back in until OLED does what plasma does with motion.

Well I'm just waiting for this years models to be released. I have a 6 year old 50 inch plasma Panasonic tv which is a great tv, but I want 4K and next tv has to be 65 inches or bigger.

I'm still rolling with a plasma too. 65VT60. If I ever have to upgrade it's going to be to a projector an very large screen.

Currently do not have a TV in my room, but when I did I had a 42" and generally at about 10' away from it. The temporarily had a 65" haha.
