The TV is exceptional. I look at it every night and marvel at what a great deal it is. The picture and sound quality are exceptional, especially for the cost.

I also think the warranty service will be great, as Hisense is really making a push in the US, so they'll want happy customers.
Sweet! Arrives tomorrow! Open box was $417 for the 50" version. You can score some good deals on Beat Buy open box stuff.

Are you guys using this Hisense for gaming or just general tv viewing?

Are you able to play with HDR enabled? I have been reading feedback reviews and they say the lag is pretty tough with this set.

I keep HDR on all the time, played gears and battlefield 1 which I think are HDR and I have had no issues at all. Especially no lag.

If a lot of guys really trust rtings reviews.

This set got a review from them of an 8.3 overall gaming rating and an overall ratings of a 7.5 HDR gaming, so in my book those scores are good gaming scores in my book. I have the set and I can only go off what my experience has been, and I love this set. I have the 55" though.

Other owners of this TV, does Netflix do 4K through the in-TV app? I'm hoping my girlfriend's crappy WIFI can consistently pull 25 Mbps despite paying for 50 -_-

Damn, not sure if either of our laptops can output in 4K either. Or if either of my HDMI cables are 2.0.

Can you (or another owner) measure the distance on the feet? I'm seeing conflicting measurements. Not sure if there is a difference depending on the screen size. I got a 50" and need the feet to fit on a stand that is 35.5" wide. Seriously what is with his horrible idea to put such wide legs on TVs......

2.0 is a specification on the end of the hardware you are running, not the cable itself.

There might be certain speeds on cables that can only run something like 4K 3D at 120 FPS, but I think it's safe to say your HDMI cables should work? I don't want to be definite on that, but the cable itself does not need to be a newer one for compatibility purposes of the spec.

The 10 year old Plasma in our living room is starting to show it's age. It doesn't seem to translate grays as well and there's a thin red-line running vertically on the left-side of the TV.
It's so thin, it's not distracting, but who knows how much longer this baby will last.
This TV has been awesome. People still comment on how clear and beautiful the picture is.
I've yet to find a TV for the same price ($2300) that can match it. But the LG OLED B6 definitely surpasses it.
I was so tempted to get it during Black Friday. Wish I would have.

I purchased a Samsung 55" 8000 series a couple of years ago and really like it.
I've read the 8500 is even better.
