I notice it comes with a "Digital copy" which I think, if my research is right, uses Ultraviolet and that goes through VUDU<!--?-->

My question, if I bought this movie would I be able to watch it in 4K using this Digital HD version code? Or is the digital code just for 1080p? And if so, how? Through the VUDU app?

Note: I own both PS4 Pro and Xbox One

Don't all 4k movies also come with a regular bluray? I think they do and so then you could just watch the regular bluray in till you get the 4k player/console.

All of my VUDU HDX digital copies are 1080P and 5.1. I have zero physical media.

So, I had posted this in another thread but I'll share it here also. As many of you know, I do work at Best Buy, well, a full-time position opened up. Found out yesterday that I got the job, plus a raise.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

So I told my wife that with my extra contract work I did this weekend (I made $1300 working Saturday) that I was going to need her SUV to go get the TV on Friday.

Her reply "wait...what? You can't afford that yet, isn't that tv really expensive?"

I said "it's $1549, with tax and my extended warranty I'm looking at about $1800 so it's not like it's a million dollars..."

My wife....thinks for a second, looks at the cat and says "Well Opie thinks you should not buy it and save up more"

LOL, so I guess she was thinking this would take me forever to save for this TV.

I told her "Look at it this way, I got unexpected contract work which gave me an extra $1300 so it's like I'm actually only paying $500 for this TV anyways"

She just thinks it's silly because she says she sees no real difference in TVs. I don't know, her vision isn't the best, so maybe that really is the case. I have read that women, in general, cannot see the difference in TV resolutions as well in general so maybe there is some truth to it. Or maybe they just think it's silly overall.

Anyways, I'm pumped, and a bit intimidated to actually do this.

My wife told me she'll be glad when I've got the tv because she's sick of hearing about it. Well next I'll have to be looking at AVR's, that Denon that Scott told me about is looking pretty alluring

You'd think they'd like the fact we are researching because we know what we are buying but I guess they just think it's all the same anyways, LOL. I really think she believes that a Sony is a Samsung is an LG is a Vizio and they are all pretty good and all are pretty much the same.

Little does she know that I've only been vocal about researching it for the past few months, to acclimate her to the reality that yes I am buying a 4K tv....I've actually been hardcore researching 4K tvs for about 2 years, give or take but not been vocal about it until I got more serious about doing it.

I remember when I bought a washer and dryer, I researched for like a solid 2 years. I think I knew more about washer and dryers than most salesmen at a washer and dryer store knew at the time, LOL.

TWO Thumbs up for this comment! My wife was the exact same way about my "Hunt for 4K"...She now believes that it was my strategy all along to just wear her out so she would simply give in....But in the end, she appreciates and feels we got a great value with our Vizio. And what I'm proud of, is that the FIRST thing she said upon seeing my demos was..."The black levels are like that OLED you wanted for $3k". So its a win for me knowing that the wifey realizes I saved half! Which means I can use the difference to upgrade other components of my HT!
