Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
What’s the deal with this B7? They say it’s the same picture quality of all the other models but something about it not doing Dolby Atmos?

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t use on board audio either so I’m good.

Hey Scott, you still at Bestbuy? You think the LG 55 inch C7 will be cheaper than $1,800 on Black Friday?

Nope, I would buy now. But why the C7 and not B7?

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
According to Rtings and many other sites it’s the same exact picture quality. They have different stands and the b7 I believe has silver borders..

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
C7 does Dolby Atmos through TV speakers, aside from that, no difference. Plus it's on sale at $1599

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
So question on repair...I have a 70 inch Sharp Aquos 1080p 3D TV from about 2013 or so...I moved it to another room the other day and somehow it got cracked. No idea how it happened, the crack isn't even visible. But when I turn the TV on, you can see it kind of spider out and colors are just all over the place and it's not view-able...is this an easy fix with something online or should I call one of those TV repair companies? Or am I SOL and need a new TV? From what I've read, it seems like the panel is the only way to replace it and those usually cost as much as the TV itself...Comment

I thought the B7 was patched to now allow Dolby Atmos?PS4 | jamiedallaireComment

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread
For anyone with the tcl p605, everyone is all over this TV for gaming. But does anyone have any comments on how hockey looks? I'm a little concerned about motion blur and white uniformity for the ice, I have a budget LG in another room (uh6035 I believe) and when watching hockey you can see that the edges of the screen are a little dimmer with some vertical bar effect. Also when the camera trails the puck down ice, there is a bit of motion blur. Just trying to avoid anything like that since all I really use my TV for is hockey and gaming.
My next option up is trying for the x900 around black Friday, or possibly trying to use that target 20% off coupon and really stretch to a lg b7. Looking for this TV to be it for a few years at least, with another kid on the way I'm figuring this will be one of my last big purchases for myself for a while. So I can stretch the budget a bit if needed but I'd obviously rather not if the tcl would fit my needs.
