Was it a 4K broadcast, or is there something else that made this stick out from the norm in any way that won't make tomorrow's game(s) look better? I didn't know what this meant specifically.

Were you hatin' on the television's abilities for the broadcast, or the broadcast itself?

Broadcast itself. Referring to previous conversations about cable or satellite broadcasts on 4K sets, especially those that aren’t broadcast in 4K.

          Gotcha.

Have you seen any 4K HDR broadcasts yet for the NBA? I know there will be a handful this season.

Really there is going to be some 4k games? Considering most broadcast are still not 1080p and are 720p or 1080i instead I figured having any thing on TV in 4k would not be for a long time.

That's what I figured. The bandwidth must be very expensive. Don't know how they're skirting around that so easily.

There is a schedule online somewhere. I know there will be a Cavs-Celtics and a Raptors-Thunder game, unless they already happened.

I really could use some help. I purchased a Sony xbr800e 2017 model. Originally I had a 2.2 help recommended HDMI cord to go with it. regular tv mode runs fine however setting it up for ps4 the tv keeps flashing on and off for like seconds then comes back on . Switch ports and have used the originally HDMI that came with the system. ?

You've tried hooking it up to another tv or using another HDMI?

You ain't gone believe this Scott at least I think this was the problem. I also had my ps3 plugged in in HDMI 2 port and ps4 was in HDMI 3 (Arc) which it still is. Unplugged ps3 HDMI out of 2 and ps4 is set to auto on all settings on ps4 and not flicker. Now how can you not plug in another device and the tv was made with 4?

Edit - had to fix typo typing on my cell.

Great, so I go to turn on my tv an hour ago and it won’t even turn on. Anyone else have this issue with the ks8000?

What is the difference between Sony model #'s 800 & 900, besides price? LOL

These are the 4K Ultra HD - HDR sets.

This should sum it up for you nicely.

If you have a wide seating arrangement in an average lit room, the Sony X800E is a more suitable choice because of its better viewing angles. On the other hand, the Sony X900E has significantly better local dimming, much better contrast ratio and a bit better black uniformity that make blacks look great and improve picture quality in a dark room when you watch movies or HDR movies. The Sony X900E has slightly better motion handling features like motion interpolation and 24p judder removal that will please movie enthusiasts. Finally, the X900E has better reflection handling and this is good news for those who watch TV shows in brighter rooms.
