That’s actually the Samsung i have now 55”. The hdr is decent but I’m looking to upgrade to about a 65” with real hdr for ps5.

I’m thinking Black Friday/Cyber Monday is the best time ?

Not looking for top of the line lol but something better

Yeah, so I've watched Netflix HDR on my friend's 950, and now PS4 Pro on this, and I can tell you - you really don't have HDR with that older Samsung set. The 65" X900H is on sale for $999 right now at Costco/Best Buy, that might be the best deal going, HDMI 2.1, everything you need. I just couldn't fit that big of a screen in where it was going (I still have the Samsung for just living room/normal TV).

I had the same thing happen to me with a LG C7 OLED. It had a terrific picture and I understand why people love OLED, but I had a lot of burn in less than 2 years of owning it. And I babied my TV and did not leave static images on the TV for prolonged periods of time. Luckily I had geek squad protection and I was given store credit. I bought a Samsung Q80T and I already had a Sony 950G in my basement. Both TVs have been great. Both these TVs have great picture quality and no worries about burn in. I will never get another OLED again.

Which is crazy because I love that Samsung to this today just need a bigger size in that space lol . Most likely getting the 900h. I’m hoping it’ll get a little lower around Black Friday

Rtings ran a bunch of C9 for 6 months straight for about 20 plus hours a day with the same videos on it on loop and not one had any burn in. They even had some with videos games. I believe the older ones had more issues with it but the newer ones have gotten a lot better. I also think people people that have had issues run their TVs with the OLED backlight at 100 all day long.

That's good and I hope you and anyone else never experiences it. My backlight didn't run higher than 20 and I varied the content on the screen a lot. I'm just not taking the chance again. I totally get why people love OLED. It is a terrific picture.

I want to get an LG CX, but I think the Vizio H1 looks better color wise. This will be strictly for gaming. Any opinions? The H1 is About $300 less.

The LG CX is considered the best TV for gaming by the experts . You might also want to go back and read the last few pages as Scott and the others have some lengthy answers then mine.

Go ahead buy a first Gen OLED from Vizio. Just don’t come crying when you get burn in. They have no idea what they’re doing.

From what I've heard from various reviewers, it uses the same panel as the LG's.

It’s the same panel, yes, but how much experience do they have preventing burn in on those panels? There’s not a switch you flip. It’s software and processing, 2 things Vizio does very poorly.

                          I'll do some further researching.

*Edit the TV does screen refreshing and pixel shifting.

I wouldn't touch Vizio OLED. I don't know the price difference and that's why it's being considered. Their processors are terrible as well. Upscaling is terrible. Maybe it would be better with their OLED.

Of course it wasn't OLED, but I went through 3 defective Vizo P55's before they actually gave me a refund.

The second one they brought had a huge area of the screen that was smudged and cloudy. I had the delivery people take it right back when they left. Next one was also defective. Multiple areas with dead pixels.

So basically, their quality control is horrible. Not sure how those TV's get the OK to be sent to customers. It's crazy.

And you really don't wanna buy the first version of anything. It really shouldn't even been a dilemma, LG is the best and no reason to buy anything else unless the cost difference is massive.

Stay away from that Vizio OLED. It's having major picture and quality issues. Almost like VIZIO rushed it to market.

LG isn't the best honestly, because The Sony Oled's are better, but cost more. The picture and color of the Vizio is simply better and almost as good as the Sony A8G, actually better in certain instances.
