I was really close to getting the Vizio because I think it's picture is better than the CX, but I ended up getting the CX 55inch. Hopefully it changes my mind.

It came down to the input lag, even though I got confirmation from Vizio that a patch to fix it was rolling out.

The vizio panel is identical to LG, it has worse motion due to a poorer processor. I'm not doubting your eyes. But how much faith can you put into a company, when it's their 1st year doing an OLED. At my store, we've already had 4 of them returned.

The CX is a fantastic TV. I've had it since June and it's easily the nicest TV I've seen, let alone had.

Compared to the simplicity of the Samsung software the LG feels like a bit of a mess. Even when trying not to use it and just running everything through a chromecast.

Display is a clear upgrade over the ks8000 though, super nice.

Damn! I still haven't made my final decision! I am hearing that 77" inches is too big for 4K, and anything bigger than 65" doesn't get as sharp of an image at 4K?

Big tv screens are about immersion but pixel density is always going to be better on smaller sets.

So a 55 LG CX would look sharper over 65 and 77 but it wont be as immersive

I went with 65 as it is the perfect size for both immersion and pixel density

I know the 55 would show sharper but not immersive.

I played pc games on my friends 48 in cx and it was really sharp at 4k but not immersive like 65

Immersion is not really a tv size thing. It's more of a viewing distance thing. If you are sitting more than 8ft from your set, a 77 inch will be fine

Agree. I'm 3 feet from my 48" OLED, don't tell me that's not immersive.

Ks8000 is what I currently have and I'm still debating if I'm gonna jump on the 65" CX this weekend or stick to my original plan of waiting until next year's offerings haha
