I read online that theres a gamma issue with VRR turned on with the CX. Wondering how gaming would be with game mode on but VRR off.

Ill report back here myself if I end up snagging a PS5.

Scott, the LG 65 inch CX is sold out at all of the stores around me and online. Do you think they will get more later?

No, I used some reward points from my credit union to get a $500 Best Buy gift card that I wanted to use for a new TV.

Just hooked up my 77in CX, coming from a 2017 55" C9. I feel like this is my first time truly experiencing 4K. Amazing picture, even the wife is impressed. Worth every penny!

any Sony tv guys in here ?

I might want to get a new sony tv for my living room and move the old sony to my
                            Bed room.

Old tv is 55”, looking to get a 65”

Old tv is from like 2014ish

Sony has like a million different types now.

                            Basically I’m not spending $5000 on a 65” tv. More like $1000.

My old tv was 240 hz

These new Sony 65 TVs at the $1000 price tag are 60 hz but have some motion thing/setting that is 240 hz

Long story short, would I see difference in the picture ?

                            Get what I’m saying ?

Sorry, I’m not very tv literate.

Quick question for you folks as you are all probably way more knowledgeable about TV's than I am.

I have a 65" Samsung 4k TV. It is probably about 4 years old now and has gone thru really heavy use.

Yesterday I notice a glowing white line about pencil thin and about 3 inches in length vertically about in the middle of my screen and about a half inch from the bottom. It does not block the picture and is more of an annoyance than anything. Almost like a light shining on the screen from a far away light source. But that is definitely not the case. It is more noticeable in games like The Show or No Mans Sky. Less so in Valhalla or GOT.

Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome. I am not technically illiterate, I build computers and such. I am just woefully under knowledge in the TV department.
