        It’s great. I’m probably about 30” away.

Nice. I just set up my mom's. Sadly due to my concussion, these new TV's are so bright that the sight of it makes me want to vomit. However I'm also noticing that because of the motion I'm not ready to move on from my plasma. Sample & hold isn't for me. Hopefully QD-OLED finds another way in the near future, otherwise I'm going projector.

EDIT: By the way, I'm not implying that the A90K is a QD-OLED.

Bough a 86 inch LG NanoCell 90 series. Will be here Friday. I love my OLEDs, however this is going in a room that get a lot of sunlight and OLEDs don't do well in those situations.

I plan on upgrading my 5 year old mid-tier TV to the C1. Probably going to go with the 48 inch since the one I'm upgrading is a 49 inch and it's just for our bedroom ans the room is usually dark. Probably won't be until around the holidays or early next year because won't have time to even enjoy it until my toddler is fully integrated into school. I was waiting until she starts school because past few years, haven't had much time to play games and watch movies. Then a couple years, we will upgrading the bigger TV in the living room once we redo the whole living room

C1 likely will not be around by the holidays.

That's my fear that it won't be around. But at the worst-case scenario, I can wait until sometime next year. My time is just too limited to justify getting a new TV. It's not like me getting the PS5 at launch when I knew imy time would be limited now, because of the chance of supply issues. I'm patient, so I can wait until I feel the time is right

My 86 inch LG 90 series NanoCell was delivered last night. OMG it dwarfs my 75 inch. Picture is excellent and get very bright. Like all LGs with the magic mouse, I had to slow that cursor speed down and make it smaller. By default that cursor is way too sensitive. I must say this is the first flat screen that actually feel "heavy" weighing in at 122 pounds. Black levels are very good, way better then I thought it would be. Almost as good as my OLEDs.

It passed the wife test. Once I setup the Comcast remote for she can just use that only, she was happy. She was never a fan of LG magic remote. Of all the picture modes, I prefer the AI picture mode. The 2 expert modes either had it too warm or too cool. Some people like it looking like that but not me. AI sound is pretty cool too.

Re: LCD or OLED? - The TV Thread

Only thing I'll say is if you grow up watching the warm picture for a long time and properly calibrate it to true colors, eventually that looks like true white to you and it doesn't take very long at all to adjust. I can't stand anything "cooler" myself.

Congrats on the new acquisition! I'm trying to get an 86" SMART Board for my classroom and I can't wait to see how it trounces my current 75" Promethean Board myself.

Recently closed on a house and have a man cave now. I just bought the S95B.

                          Safe to say, no complaints.

Congrats, it's definitely a great TV. I'll be doing my new theater next year, stay tuned

Sold the TCL I had to my buddy and got another C1. I had really bad luck on the last one with noticeable red ghosting along the left side. Got it for $1,599 + $150 Costco card + $100 streaming credit.

In a couple years I will probably have regretted not getting a 77". I should have been more vigilant on those deal, but maybe once I'm feeling the itch to go bigger I will jump into the projector world.

After having the 86 inch tv for a week now, 75 inch TVs look tiny to me. It is like it is something you notice right away how much smaller a 75 inch tv is.
