Our living room isn't overly bright. When we redo our living room, we're painting it a darker color and will have darker shades than we have now. So in theory, OLED is an option. Our daughter is old enough where I don't have to worry about her throwing stuff. Our current TV has to be about 15 or so years old.
It also depends on when you're watching mainly. But yeah, if it's not overly bright, I'd say the best is either the Samsung Q90D or Sony A95L (if you need Dolby Vision)

We're likely going to look soon. The current tv is around 70 inches for the screen. So, I'm considering anything between 65'-77'. It doesn't have to be a top of the line model and I doubt I would play games on it either, but I wouldn't want something cheap. Since, it's for the living room, I might avoid an OLED

What is your opinion on Mini-Led TVs. For my living room, I don't really want an OLED and don't want to spend a ton..
