I missed it in this thread and everywhere else. I heard about it a minute ago.

Finished it. Man this show hit all the right nostalgia notes. Felt like something straight out of the 80's, with better picture fidelity and effects.

Here is hoping for a Season 2 as it sits right now with a 9.3 on IMDB.

Watched 3 episodes tonight. Netflix hit a home run with this show.

I'm exactly at that point, having just wrapped up episode 3. This might turn out to be my favorite Netflix original.

EDIT: Great acting all round- Winona Ryder is killing it.

I'm on Episode 4 and loving it..only bad thing about it is only 8 Episodes..wish there were more. So far all the Netflix original shows I've watched have been good, and this is one of the better ones.

Edit: Dustin is my boy Lol he's a trip

I'm on the bandwagon as well. Got through 3 and a half episodes so far and I love it. I'm digging the music. It's so perfect 80s style. Netflix is pretty much on fire and they are killing me because there is so much good content I just don't have the time for it all.

Gonna have to re-up my account to just to catch this show apparently. Sounds like it's worth the admission.

This is slowly becoming my problem. I am falling behind.

Yep same here. I have so much stuff I wanna watch and not enough time to watch it. This includes Sons of Anarchy, Parks and Rec, Sunny, Agents of SHIELD, Flash, Arrow, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, at least 2 30 for 30s (Fantastic Lies [Duke Lax] and Of Miracles and Men [1980 Miracle on Ice]).

I had to empty my queue last week and start over. It went from probably 30-40 shows to 5.

I need to focus on what I actually want to watch. Thankfully I've already watched all of Sons, Parks, sunny, Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

No interest in the DC series, but I do have Agents of Shield on the small list of 5 along with Marco Polo.

Yea I just did that. Had the same thing 30-40 shows/movies cut it down to 10 and added the Big Short, which I planned on adding to my list. And I have already started some of the shows like Parks and Rec, Sons, Shield, Sunny and Scream (TV show).

Stranger Things was amazing. The girl who played Eleven is a star in the making.

Just finished and I agree whole heartedly. It was so good. And Eleven was phenomenal. To think I hadn't even really heard about it tell this thread. Nice tip fellas.

Hate to be redundant but Stranger Things is simply amazing.
I actually regretted watching Ray Donovan over this show last night. I could have watched another!

The Big Short is fantastic too.
Whoever wrote and/or directed this movie should have won a lot of awards.
The fact that they took an incredibly complicated and boring subject and turned it into a terrific dramady deserves high praise - as do the actors involved who all did a great job.
I am not a fan of Ryan "Hey Girl "Gossling, but he killed it in this movie.

                                Now back to Stranger Things...
