It's just depends on your taste. The Blacklist, The Flash, Agents of Shield, Mr. Robot, Blindspot, are just a few of the network shows that I think are top notch. So, yeah there is still a lot of quality content that will always be a point of contention between Netflix, Hulu, et al. and the networks.

Yep tons of different network shows to check out. I would add Suits, Arrow, Sons of Anarchy, Parks and Rec and more to that list. Hell I could spend a good 10/15 minutes thinking about shows that I would add to the list just from Netflix as I don't have Hulu.

Finished Stranger Things last night. What a terrific show and I'm glad to see there's a chance that Season 2 may happen.

Saw the trailers for Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Definitely interested in those programs - especially Luke Cage.

Netflix is really killing it right now. So many great, quality programs.

Loved, loved, loved this show.
Just finished it up last night.
I keep seeing everyone excited for a season 2 or wanting a season 2.
I just don't see the need for it. The 8 episodes were great and I loved the way the show ended.
What would a season 2 be about? To me everything I needed was done in the original 8 episodes.
The kid is safe, the villain is dead, what do I need to see in another season?

Again I loved this show, one of my favorite shows ever.
But I just don't see a reason for another season.
I almost feel another season will make us feel less of season 1 if season 2 is not as good. (and come on we all know it wont be!)

Read through comments on here and decided to try Stranger Things. Glad I did. Awesome season. They definitely left enough bread crumbs to have another season.

Like I said I just hate to ruin a good thing by having a horrible season 2.

Season 2 sucked compared to season 1. Just don't want the same for this series.

I hear what you're saying. But True Detectives main problem was a whole new cast. It was basically a new show with the same name. Can't really compare that with Stranger Things. But you are correct. With season 1 being so great the chance of season 2 sucking is pretty damn high. However Netflix has shown, while short, a good track record of keeping it's shows consistent. Daredevil was only supposed to be 1 season but pretty much got forced into a season 2 because it was so good. Then season 2 was epic.

Wow I kind of rambled on there lol. If the creators meant for it to be more a mini series then I say leave it be. But to me it seems as if they still have a story to tell.

Definitely a great show. I have like the first 9 or so seasons on DVD. Some great episodes/stories and bad guys. The 100th episode is one that comes to my mind and the only that comes to my mind right now.

Remember reading about this earlier this year, what stuck with me is that the cast is pretty much all unknowns. Keep your eyes for a surprise performance.
