Nice. The stakes only keep getting higher from here.

Do you feel invested in Walt at this point, or is something else driving your interest?

I'd say when I posted that my interest was 50% Jesse hijinks, 50% Saul just because I love Levy from the Wire and seeing more of a character like that is awesome. Finished the 2nd season, and now I'm at like 80% Saul, 20% wanting to see what's up with Gus.

I still don't find Walt interesting. I really feel like they got everything they needed out of him being a chemistry teacher in the first episode, I don't even like the periodic table aesthetic in the opening credits lol. His personal life, I could not care less about. Every second his family is on screen I'm begging Saul or Jesse to save me. Skyler is no Carmela Soprano, and his son is no Sally Draper, get them out of here. I don't hate them as characters necessarily, they're just boring and in the way of the things that I actually want to see. That said, it's only because the good stuff is so good that the stuff that doesn't interest me is so painful to sit through.

Really impressed with "start up" which apparently was originally a crackle series. Its a guys type show sorta in the mold of ozark. I would def add that to your list to watch and even though its a few years old feels current as its talking about bitcoin stuff.

Also the documentary This is a robbery was interesting as well and was about something I didn't know about. Its only 4 episodes so not a big commitment. I liked it a lot better then son of sam.

Yeah for me the only weak part of Breaking Bad was the casting of Walt's family.

I started watching that John DeLorean documentary yesterday. I didn't realize he was kind of a boring looking, straitlaced engineer in his younger years before become this fast living playboy in middle age.

It's a tossup, but Cheers didn't have Eddie

I started watching The Royle Family on Amazon based on Michael Imperioli mentioning on Talking Sopranos that he really liked it. It is so good, just a Manc family talking about mundane things in their living room every episode, but yet you keep wanting to watch more.

Apparently it used to be on Netflix but is on Amazon Prime now. I searched the first several pages of this subforum looking for an Amazon version of this sort of thread but there were none, so I'll just put this here. Surely we have a lot of Amazon Prime watchers as well, seeing as it's free with Prime membership.

What's good to watch on Netflix

Wife and I binged 2 seasons of Making A Murderer and our minds are blown.

Unbelievable real life story and I do know a season 3 is planned for 2022.

My wife and I were just stunned as it all unfolded.

If you have not seen this.....and like real life crime scene investigation and murder cases.....wow is all I can say.

                          I did.

And to be honest too much doubt was casted easily.

Just started another real crime documentary called The Staircase.

12 parts. Case already after one episode looks insane. Will report back.

4 episodes into season 3 of Breaking Bad, saying to myself minimum twice per episode at this point “people think this is better than The Wire?” They’ve squandered all the momentum from the awesome middle of season 2, I didn’t like the finale and was worried it would go down from there. This feels almost like an anime, like you could make a version where half of the episodes are cut out and the real story doesn’t change. Went back to see the awards and was surprised to see the voters picked Mad Men as the better show but Walt as the better performance over Don. I could see it the other way, I don’t think BB has been better than early Mad Men but I could see the argument. I could never be convinced Cranston is getting more out of this than Jon Hamm was.
