          Well Official update 2.

I took everything out and started from scratch. Followed all the instruction booklets and such. Got it all back together and now it doesnt even turn on at all. I still think I messed up somehow with the PSU Chords again but I have to head to bed before work. Guess I will try again tomorrow.

Is the switch on the PSU set to On? Happens more than you would think.

My dudes, fwiw, OC'ing your cpu/gpu is no longer a danger as it once was, unless you plan on volt modding (which only the real pros attempt).

Don't be afraid to do so (especially on a desktop). So long as you have a well regulated cooling system, you really have nothing to worry about.

Especially if you have a nice motherboard.

My ASUS Rampage IV Formula literally made me press a button to enter the BIOS and then click on thing... Now my i7-3930k is OCd to 4.4GHz on all 6 cores instead of running at the stock 3.2.

Ok this time I hit the button in my motherboard and it starts up for like 3 seconds then shuts off.

The fans start spinning and everything then stops. -_-

It seems that there isnt enough power or maybe the heatsink isnt attached correctly to the motherboard. i remember that happened with my other computer.

what psu did u get? make sure all the power cables are connected to all the devices. for my new build my video card needed 2 plugs

Check what the debug LED on the motherboard says during post, if anything at all.

Pretty much you just have AMD for a CPU Quad for under $130. Which is fine for 99% of people.
I did some research on the A8, and other than the fact that it has more cores, it seems like the G2120 wins out.
