I love how they freaked out over getting another story about the military. Pretty solid episode. Still don't understand why Jane Fonda's character did a 180 on Will and his staff and she didn't just fire them like she wanted to. I guess she's just fickle about it.

I'm really glad they toned back Mac and Maggie's over the top performance. They obviously got the message that it was hard to take them seriously last season. Olivia Munn is awesome too.

Wow, that marriage proposal came from nowhere. Solid episode.

Fantastic. Felt like a series finale, glad it wasn't.

The season went by way too quickly. Definitely a better season than 1 as it focused more on the staff and less on the news. Glad Will & Mac finally happened but even happier about Sloan and Don. The book signing scene was pure magic. Season 3 is too far away.

Finally got to watch it. Whoever said it felt like a series finale was spot on. I think the show was smart not to dwell on things like the Zimmerman story, and love the fact that they didn't go overboard with the election stuff. I am looking forward to next season as they will have lots of material to choose from.

What tipped Sloan off about who bought her book? My DVR went crazy during that part. Fortunately it started working in time for Don's line in the control room.

I actually liked season 1 more compared to season 2 because of the commentary on the news/events. I felt like Genoa took a lot of that away.

Still, looking forward to season 3 and what news they highlight.

I like the characters a lot more than hearing about old news stories. In fact, I wish they did more fake news like Genoa and the time they wanted to reform the debates by holding people accountable for their words. I like real news being a backdrop but not the forefront.

I got hooked on the show because of the commentary and consider the good drama around the characters a bonus.

I do like it when it's "Breaking News" and everybody is running around making calls and getting info and whatnot. It's just that they ALWAYS do the right thing when it happens. They always wait for double confirmation. They never report something that everyone else has already reported that eventually ends up being wrong. Because the news is so old, the show has time to write "best-case scenarios" where the team is perfect due to having real world hindsight. That's why the old news does nothing for me. Opinions on old news, I'm cool with as I typically agree with Will. The news itself though, I can take it or leave it.

That's just me though. I totally respect your way of enjoying the show.

I think this season much more so than the first one they most definitely didn't do much of that. Valid criticism for the first season certainly.
