Have not looked forward to the end of a season on HBO, since season 4 of "The Wire". Should be awesome TV.

I'm not a fan of the 'fire Will' storyline, expecting this to get really ugly for everyone and afraid the storytelling will turn equally as ugly trying to resolve it all.

Good episode, but would almost have rather ended the season with last week's episode being number 10, would have been a hell of a note to go out on.

Agree on the fire Will story. But I look at it this way let's get it out of the way season one so (hopefully) we won't have to deal with it in the next few. I have a sneaking feeling that Will won't be fired after all.

This show made me a big fan of Olivia Munn, which is something I never thought I would say.

Thought the last episode was pretty average. Not that it completely sucked, but I did pause it midway, made lunch, listened to music, and then came back to finish it off. Nothing from the storyline grabbed me as something new and exciting.

The one thought that did occur to me though was that with this new NSA storyline, they might be moving into a more fictional world next year. They're running out of big real life stories now anyway.

Sorkin said that NSA meeting happened I thought?

Huh? We have a Presidential election, Israel is talking about attacking Iran. That's just this week. They could carry the entire second season on the elections alone. You have the Colorado shooting, The Sheik temple shooting. Who knows what other "news" will happen between the end of the first and start of the second season.

Without the romance plots to bog down the show, this episode was very good. I liked the pacing. Sloan's character is kind of weird. She's definitely quirky, but a lot of it comes off as goofy and out of touch. Maybe there are that many hot girls who don't know their own body that well?

The ratings thing kind of falls flat on me, though. I understand Sorkin uses it to advance the threat behind Lansing, but losing half their viewers because they didn't cover Casey Anthony seems a bit far fetched. Still, it was interesting seeing them break down the Nancy Grace coverage as pretty much every 24/7 news network does the same thing.

I'm pretty sure Maggie is senile.

I found that part to be very funny.

I really like this show. Nice combination of comedy with some drama and I find the newsroom perspective to be interesting.

                      Mackenzie needs a straight jacket.

I'm a little baffled as to the amount of effort Jim is putting into trying to 'woo' Lisa back, but even moreso as to why Jim would even think about dating Maggie over her.

I liked the plot developments, but considering they were pushed to the back burner this week this episode fumbled the momentum from last week.

There is an awful lot of people yelling their conversations while standing in crowded rooms on this show.

Looks like next season will be filled with more of the Don, Maggie, and Jim love triangle.

Enjoyed the finale, glad that Will won't be "fired" going into season 2. Also happy that Terry Crews will be around for season 2. At some point though someone is going to have to take a pop-shot at Will, right?

The Office romance stuff is silly. But I'm glad that Jim is still with the "hotter" girl.

There's no reason for him to get with Maggie. Hell, there's not even a reason for Maggie to be jonesing after Jim.
