Felt almost like a filler movie. They had a bunch of unnecessary plot lines that I wouldn't say were fleshed out.

Then like some have said, Ultron was pretty weak. I don't know.

I guess I just want my antagonist to have that final boss feel going against the all star team of superheroes. Like a Brock Lesnar in WWE. Or a Shin Akuma in Street Fighter Alpha 3.

I didnt get that with him at all. So that was disappointing.

Like I said, I enjoyed it. I wasn't bored. But it just doesn't compare to their other films in my opinion.
I can agree with a lot of this.

    I will say...

Might be because of where they're taking the series.

I didn't care for the mushy side story lines.... That ruins alot of movies for me but overall I enjoyed it.

I know its a TV show and probably shouldn't compare but Daredevil is the best thing Marvel has out to date.

Anyway, I'm not disappointed, had some awesome scenes and a lot of good banter just not my fave to come out of the MCU.
I basically agree with this take 100% For me Guardians is better than both Avengers movies and it's not really close. This was a really good movie, there is just other stuff out there that is better, no shame in that.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It's a credit to just how good most of these Marvel movies (and TV show in Daredevil) have been that you can easily make the argument that there are better movies in this universe than The Avengers.

You mean the Black Widow/Hulk stuff? I personally liked it. Especially with what they did with Hulk at the end.

Saw it last night at a midnight show. Really enjoyed it, although as an old comic fan I was somewhat disappointed with some things. Guess I should spoiler this:

Still was an enjoyable movie, I do want to see it again. Even funnier than the first, character development was good despite the huge roster of characters
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

              Hawk eye as well.

It slows the story to much and appears like filler content

I enjoyed it because it made me care about Hulk, Widow, and Hawkeye outside of the fact that they can kick ***

I also liked the Hawkeye angle. Didn't expect that at all. Then again I've had a thing for Linda Cardellini since Freaks and Geeks so I may be biased lol.

Sent from my Galaxy s4 so deal with the short hand

lol when she showed up I was like hey its the cute nerdy girl from freaks and geeks. I thought Hawkeye was great way better then he was in the first movie when it felt like he shouldn't didn't even need to be in the movie. I think he was one of the best things about this movie. I have this as like the 2nd or 3erd best movie in the MCU but I don't think the MCU is even close to as good has people say. TWS is the only great MCU movie. Avengers and avengers AOU are both good, Iron man 3 slightly good and Gardens slightly good. The rest of the MCU movies or ok/bad.

I loved the movie and will watch it multiple times but for me, I enjoyed Winter Soldier and Guardians just a little more. That's not to say that AoU sucked. It's a credit to James Gunn and the Russo brothers about how good their movies were

I'm actually not sure. This one definitely had a cooler premise but its almost like "been there, done that." The Hulk and Black Widow thing to me was soo stupid, definitely could of done without it. Yet on the other hand I liked Hawkeye's reveal, I felt like that painted a very interesting imagine of what their fighting for but forgot they were fighting for it.

And Hulk!!!!! Loved him in the first, beyond his one big scene that's shown in every commercial, I felt like he was a wasted character. Banner was okay, but the Hulk was an after thought and that blows my mind with how popular he was in the first and how he's the only true character without his own movie.

With all that being said, I still enjoyed it, but it didn't do anything the first of didn't do.
