Book/Easter Egg Spoiler:
SpoilerWhen Bealish is talking to Sansa about the way people can die. He mentions dying on the toilet, which is how Tywin will die shortly (or at least how he died in the books).Moderator

SpoilerWhich then is followed by one of my favorite lines ever in a book. I'm really interested in seeing how that is planned out, they probably won't have him climbing 250 rungs into the tower of the hand.

How do my fellow book readers deal with non-book readers asking you questions in person.
If I sense they're about to I attempt to drain any expression from my face. Lol either lie to them or just smile and ignore. LolPsn: Plex-07Comment

I watch with my wife who always asks me questions, I just tell her "I don't know" or "Just watch and see what happens" even though I know full well what is going to happen. It has actually helped me at the poker table as I am now stoic the whole episode. This was after she told me my face gave away a death in season 2SpoilerRenly
Now when I am at the tables I have my "Game of Thrones" face on all the time.Moderator

SpoilerVery curious how they're going to handle this. Tyrion pretty much straight-up murders Shae in the book, and having the protagonist of your TV show kill an unarmed woman out of revenge is a tough sell, especially when show-Shae has been presented more sympathetically than book-Shae. Wouldn't be surprised if this scene plays out very differently in the show (accidental death, suicide, etc.).Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: Game of Thrones Season 4 (aka A Storm of Swords: Part Deux)
There's talk of GRRM needing 8 books to finish A Song of Ice and Fire, which doesn't surprise me. After reading A Dance with Dragons, I figured either the next two books would be absolute bricks, the pace would have to pick up exponentially, or an 8th book would be required.
That's why I figure that (MAJOR BOOK SPOILERS)SpoilerGame of Thrones will be completely caught up to the books by the end of Season 5. Wouldn't surprise me if the Battle of Meereen from the beginning of The Winds of Winter is the climax of Season 5 (as well as the "death" of Jon Snow). I'm almost certain that the Merrett Frey/Lady Stoneheart scene will be cut, and we'll see Brienne and Pod encounter LSH in one of the final scenes of this season, which means all of Brienne's chapters in A Feast For Crows will have been cut or condensed into this season.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Damn, I shouldn't have opened the Easter Egg spoiler.
I figured it would be something small like: "Baelish mentioned something about a book character who doesn't appear in the show"
But it wasn't small. Totally my fault because it was a clearly marked book spoiler, but dang, hahaUniversity of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: Game of Thrones Season 4 (aka A Storm of Swords: Part Deux)
Sometimes I tell them I don't know because the TV show deviates a lot from the books, which is true sometimes. If that's not the case I say to just keep watching and find out.PS: You guys are great.
