That doesn't always happen, and not that often the final 4-5 consists of all people from the same tribe.

It's just the easiest mentality to use. Instead of trying to join an alliance which might not want you, just stick with your original tribe so that people won't think of you as someone who'll turn on others.

They should have a season with no tribes. Similar to how One World started out, except they weren't competing tribes. So from the very beginning, it's individual immunity challenges. That'd be interesting twist to see. Knowing that if you want to make it to the end(and win the game) you have to survive EVERY single immunity challenge of the season(something that has only happened to 1 player in Survivor history)

That was GREAT tribal! Talk about suspenseful! Never saw any of that coming! It provided a huge lesson for future seasons of this show too, because for so long, people were scared of this, but for the first time in over 10 years, everyone finally gets to see how Survivor learned from early mistakes. Wonder how(if at all) this impacts future seasons with people now being fully aware of what can happen at tribal.

I wonder what happens with the idol, because final 5 is the last time you can use it,but due to redemption island twist, final 5 happens 2 times. So does that mean next week will be final time for idol to be played, or will the second time the final 5 happen be the last time it can be played?

When looking at another site, I found out an answer to a question I've been wondering for years. If a tiebreaker happens in the jury vote, the jury will revote until someone finally switches and a winner is crowned. Supposedly this has never happened before, but that seems like it'd draw even more controversy. Someone having the most amount of votes to finish 1st(even if it's a tie) but losing because of that rule. If this ever happens,I can see alot of people saying that whoever lost, deserved to win(even if they didn't)

That was probably the best episode of survivor that I've seen from top to bottom. Just pure awesome.

Kudos to Hayden, and Kudos to Sierra. Way to make a move. Too bad that it didn't work out.

Am I the only one who thought Tyson was going to ask Jeff if he could play the idol before the rock draw?

I was thinking that, but I'm sure it's probably in the rules from the beginning(since everyone has to read rulebook before season).Just like you can't play an idol on the revote.

Something I thought of though....if Tyson played his idol(for himself), what would've happened? Revote would still lead to a 2-2 tie, and then they were given chance to either unanimous vote or draw rocks. Would the rocks just be between Katie/Cierra or would they be forced to vote out Hayden(since Tyson can't be voted out and obviously won't switch his vote)?

In order of the remaining 5, of who should win based on gameplay:
            1.Tyson
            2.Gervase
            3.Monica
            4.Cierra
5.Hayden(sucks to have him this low since he's one of my picks to win)

Monica at 3 instead of 5, mostly just cause of the immunities she has won. Based on the jurys reaction though....Sounds like Tyson/Gervase might not win this game?!? Which would be stupid. I hope Aras/Vytas actually vote honestly and don't just vote out of bitterness.

Would have been nice if CBS didn't ruin it by showing previews all week.

Yeah they spoiled the tribal for me, but at least not the result of it. Still, would've been ten times more awesome if I didn't have a clue what was gonna happen.

Luckily I never saw any of the commercials so I was surprised.

And seems like commercials did work though. 10.63M viewers watched(#1 show of the night by almost 1M viewers!). Wasn't going up against any reruns either.

It was awesome to see Ciera flip during tribal like that. It was almost as if you could see the wheels turning in her head and her asking herself what she had to lose. Best case scenario for her would have been Tyson going home, worst case see goes to redemption (not that she would win a challenge anyway). If Tyson goes then the three take out Gervase and Monica. Plus, she has the possibility of her Mom coming back, as well.

As well as I think Tyson has played I think that the jury is going to be bitter. These little comments that he and Gervase keep making certainly aren't going to get them any votes. If I'm Monica, Ciera or even Hayden I don't think I would mind sitting by them at the final tribal.

                      Re: Survivor Blood vs Water

Watched it last night, and it was hilarious. Great episode, although I was a little confused at the rock drawing segment. At first I was like, why would they not let the 2 people that had votes choose rocks? Then I realized they were punishing the rest of the tribe for not making the decision.

What happened to the fire making challenge? I thought that might come out.

I'm going to start rooting for Hayden. I didn't like him originally because of Kat, but he's growing on me. I think that was the first time that someone who knew they were being voted out, spoke out during tribal and managed to get a secure vote to change their mind. His speech even got Tyson and Gervase riled up that they basically gave away that Monica is 4th. Which if Monica is smart, she'd now team up with Sierra and Hayden next week to take out Tyson and Gervase.

It was hilarious to hear the conversation between Tyson and Hayden

                      "It's ruffle."
                      "What??"
"It's Ruffle. Ruffle feathers. Russel is a first name"

Even Jeff couldn't resist but LOL.

But what was more hilarious than Katie getting hit in the head not once, but twice with the ball during immunity challenge?? buhahahahaha!!!!

The fire has been gone for a few seasons. I never thought drawing rocks made sense until last night. I like that they punish them for not coming to a decision on who to vote out. I would be fine with either. One is a social aspect, the other is survival.

                          Re: Survivor Blood vs Water

The fire still exists, but it's only for smaller numbers. Like if it's the final 4 voting(or just 2-4 people left on a tribe). Which is why I'm sorta surprised that on Philippines season they never did that. It was 2 on 2 in the final 4,but instead of Malcolm/Denise teaming up, they just turned on each other and hoped the other 2 would join them. Either one of them could've easily beat Lisa in the firemaking challenge.

The fire making challenge has only happened on:
Palau(cause there were only 2 members of the tribe left)

                          Panama(tiebreaker at final 4)

Cook Island(tiebreaker at final 4. It was also my fave one because you had Ozzy/Yul training the person they wanted to take to the end with them)

                          Gabon(also tiebreaker at final 4)

So in Survivor history, there has been 7 tiebreakers. 4 firemaking challenges, 2 rocks, and 1 quiz(on one of the earliest seasons). Tiebreakers are fun though.

I gotta watch all those before the finale. Sucks though that most of these videos won't be available until after the finale(cause half the jury will be decided on the finale episode), and by then I won't care.

Season finale this Sunday! Luckily, no football games airing around them so it'll start at 8pmEST for sure, no delays or anything!

As for the final 5 of it.......
Tyson is guaranteed final 4 spot(unless for some reason he doesn't play the idol and/or pulls off stupidest move in Survivor history(wins immunity, gives it up,and gives someone else the hidden idol lol)

So really hoping Gervase wins immunity then, cause then he'll be safe, Tyson safe, and Monica forced to stick with them since joining Cierra(and either Tina,Hayden or Laura) will be useless.

As for the final redemption island challenge happening.....Don't see how Laura doesn't win it. Looks like some balance challenge, and Hayden hasn't been great at those, and it's part endurance too,so Tina out as well.

Really is anyones game still at this point, all just depends on how the jury is voting(which I still sadly think Aras,Vytas are gonna be voting bitter)
