Did you notice Edward had a coffee cup with a question mark on it?

We're a week behind, but Harvey's reaction to the Viper guy with the ATM machine was hilarious.

I'm loving these corny-*** villains. It perfectly lines up with the first season of the 60s Batman series to me.

I missed this week's episode but I hope to catch up on it before the next ep. Needless to say I think it's a solid show with a bit of an identity crisis at times. They want to be super serious and gritty but the villains of the week and such veer toward the corny. It's not quite camp but it doesn't jibe with the overall vibe they're trying to create. I do think though, that kind of cognitive dissonance is working for them on one level but to some people who want things completely grounded in one reality are having a tough time with the way the villains are portrayed.

I just hope the wheels of the kiddy car doesn't fall off on this show and we completely move toward corny/campy television.

Agreed, I think they should look at a show like Arrow as a reference of how the villains and "fight" scenes are portrayed. I often have felt underwhelmed at such a big build up - and only to have the confrontation to last 10-15 secs. I feel so "unsyatisfide". <---- (movie reference, anyone?)

I really like this show, but after watching the first episode of The Flash and reading some negative reviews about Gotham, it's pretty disheartening to think that it just isn't very good. But there's a lot of potential.

Yeah I think I am about ready to give up on the show and may stop watching it soon.

I'm still on the fence about the show. I just can't figure out how I feel about it. I don't think it is terrible, but I don't think it is great either. I'll give it a few more episodes.

caught up on this show......compared to the other comic book shows, this is last in my book. its just not that interesting enough even with those little nods to the source material. i think they just skip a few years every season so we can actually have a hope for batman. at this rate, the show can go for 15 yrs and still not old enough to be batman

I think this is how I feel about it as well. I'm gonna give it a few more episodes but it really feels like the show runners are trying to appeal to EVERYONE and that's hurting the overall product. Parts of the show are really good with the dark and brooding nature but then they screw it up with very corny/campy villains/plots.

Gordon is a good cast and the Penguin storyline is easily the best thing they got going but everything else is just meh. Don't really care about a middle school batman or random weird villain with no real overall plot movement.

To echo the previous posts, I'm not sure what their plan is to progress the characters. Bruce has been getting smarter and starting to own Alfred a bit... but he's still young as ****, the rate as which is knowledge is progressing doesn't really match the rate of his physical development. Is he gonna be a full fledged superhero/crimefighter at age 15?

The whole "no one can stop the goat" episode was just a ridiculous villian.
