Can't remember names but the cop started by lying and say Cliff was leading his alliance to get the rid of the other cop. She's had a vendetta against him ever since. I knew Cliff would be voted out, but I thought it'd be bc LJ would play his idol.

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Saw episode preview for next weeks episode, and by the sounds of it, seems like the reward in the reward challenge is something crazy!
SpoilerThe preview makes it out to sound like the winning tribe gets to raid the other tribes camp! Old school Survivor reward right there if it is true!
Rewards like that show just how diff Survivor is now from the early days. I remember early seasons the simplest of things were considered rewards. Somehow I think something like a single piece of food(like a sandwich or something) used to be considered a reward for an entire tribe in the very early seasons of the show. Now it's basically "Win a reward, get more food to eat than a number of people watching at home eat in a day". This challenge wasn't one of those, but other times people basically get a huge all you can eat feast with dozens of things to choose from.Last edited by Majingir; 03-22-2014, 11:39 PM.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
lol, goes to show the type of casting this show has. They always look for the same types of people to cast in the show.
But this episode was crazy. Lyndsey quits!?! I get that Trish is annoying and everything, but quitting because of that.....Though the part that sucked is how Trish is basically laughing at how she bullied someone out of the game. Tony was happy in the whole "It's 1 less person in this game" type of way, but Trish was acting like she's proud of what she did.
Seems like the jury is starting at 11, so either a final 3 with 8 person jury,or final 2 with 9 person jury is what this seems like.
Spencer,Tony seem like the 2 locks for the finals based on how much cameratime everyone is getting(though camera time doesn't always show who makes it far in the game)Comment

I always thought it was odd a hair dresser had such nasty hair herself.
Also, Tony really needs to be careful, he's playing himself right out of the game.

Dreadlocks lost all respect from me. She knew she was screwed going forward and quit like a bum. She had no fight in her whatsoever.
Anyway W T F happened. I thought the guy was good as gone but a clean sweep to take out the girl? Woah. I though Tony and Woo's trick with the idol clue worked. The editing made it seem like it did!Comment

I really liked how big of a blindside that was. I mean the look on Alexis face was priceless.
I'm actually starting to like Tony and his game. But I think his mouth is going to get him in trouble sooner or later. As for Lindsey, she didn't really do much to be a strong player as the show portrayed her, and I think her quitting proved that. Glad the producers decided to bury her for quitting by showing all the little things her tribe did. I wish she would have gone out with a bang like Jitea.. I mean, the dreads gave me the appearance of a "I don't give a ****" attitude..
RE: Next Week's Preview
SpoilerSo we get.. another merge. I'm not sure what to think.. I guess it's a different merge since they're doing it with 11, instead of 10 players left. How would people feel about a season where there is only 1 tribe? I don't remember if they ever did this in earlier seasons.Comment

But doesn't that sorta make this past episode kind of useless?
SpoilerThey're basically like "Win the reward, steal stuff from the other tribe........O ya, and in 3 days you'll be merging anyways so stealing stuff makes no difference"Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
That's something I've been hoping they do for a season too. Imagine a season where it's just 1 tribe from start to finish. So no tribal immunities at all, it's individual immunity challenges from day 1. So whoever does win the game, has to truly survive the game since they'd survive every single tribal council.
SpoilerThat's why I don't know what to think. It was really pointless. But I guess the producers didn't know that someone would quit just because.
They should have them sign a contract that if they quit, they need to payback the airfare and other commodities they provided.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Seems like Jeffs tipping point on quitters was last season when Colton quit cause Jeff wanted him back so badly, and then after he just quits, it made Jeff mad that someone he was pushing for so badly, just quit like many others in the past.
So because of last season, seems like they're now gonna bury whoever does quit in future seasons as proven by this past episode(and actually showing the Lindsey message her tribe(probably Trish) wrote in the sand)
Back to back seasons someone has quit, and I believe this is the 3rd consecutive all new players season in which someone has quit(and 5th consecutive all new players season that someone has been out of the game due to injury or quitting)? Casting sure does suck then. Out of potentially millions of applicants, how can you not find players who want to be there?Last edited by Majingir; 03-27-2014, 10:48 AM.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Her quiting was probably best if she knew she couldn't control herself. She could have easily been fine as Tony will want Trish gone and could have gotten right back in.
She just couldn't stand to be around Trish and I don't blame her. I would probably have the same feelings, but would have been able to keep calm. The elements make it harder though.
As for 1 tribe, I've brought this up before. I would have 1 tribe, but for teams for each challenge. Losing team goes to tribal. Teams are randomly picked each time. Also have 1 individual immunity each week and winner can give to someone else on losing team.

Preview for tomorrows episode flat out says that we'll see:
Spoilera blindside!
For the 2014-2015 season, do people see Survivor staying on Wednesdays, or might it also be shifted around like other shows on CBS schedule?Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
What an ending! For a season with entirely new cast, they've done great job so far! Sucks what happened to the idol knowing that means there'll only ever be 1 idol in the game from this point on.
That idol will be the most important idol in Survivor in YEARS. Previews make it seem like maybeSpoilerWoo
lol, has something like this really ever happened before though? X amount on 1 side, that same amount on the other side, 1 person who's the swing vote, and the swing vote person is the one who's gone.
Tony-Woo are my picks for final 2(I think it might actually be final 2 this year?! Though I've been thinking that for years lol. But Tony said he wanted it to be him and Sarah in final 2,so he wouldn't say that if it's a final 3 would he?)Comment
