Exactly.....that's what an Amazon powerhouse should look like, not some Hollywood waif. Isn't WW supposed to be second only to Supes in terms of raw power?

She barely handled her lines in Deadpool, how the hell is she gonna head a tentpole movie. Pretty sure part of the role of Wonder Woman is to be sexy which Gal Gadot can do easily.

How did she barely handle her lines? People kill me with the Gina stuff. Gal Gadot hasn't shown anything that makes her some great actress, certainly nothing more than Carano has thus far.

I dont know, never liked her since the announcement.

For me i guess is, if they plan on doing this movie, a wonder woman movie, a justice league movie, maybe 2 of them...is this really the best they could come up with?

Thoughts on the movie from Anthony Breznican (EW Writer who mostly covers superhero movies and the like), who saw it about a month ago:

1. If you loved Man of Steel, you'll love BvS.
2. If you loved Man of Steel, but not the end -- BvS may redeem that.
3. If You hated Man of Steel and the whole grim/dark thing, okay, probably not for you.
4. Wonder Woman is fearsome.
5. There's a moment between Batman & Superman that'll make even the most cynical eye tear-up a little.
6. Fans will have a lot to discuss (and fight over.)

EDIT - also said that reddit "Major Spoilers Plot Revealed" summary, that I seem to remember being posted in here but maybe not, was not right at all.

You're right we haven't seen her in a lot of movies, but Gal Gadot auditioned and competed with other actresses to win the part. This is WB's biggest movie this year and will launch its universe, so they're gonna make sure she's gonna do well because Wonder Woman is vital to this movie and the Justice League.

Gina wasn't even considered to try out for the part and people are only wanting her because she looks like what they want as Wonder Woman and not basing if she can handle the acting. One thing I've seen in all of Wonder Woman shots and parts in the trailer is that she's sexy and I don't think Carano can pull off sexy.

I personally think Gadot is gonna kill it in this role.

It's so refreshing when an actor gets the superhero he/she is playing. In this case, Henry Cavill.

Do you think he’d do it differently now?

Let’s say now, [if] Superman has the same threat again, that’s a different story. He would, of course, bring collateral damage to an absolute minimum, but in that, he’s just trying to survive because if he doesn’t, the planet’s gone. That’s the excuse I make for Superman. He’s fresh and he’s new, and it’s very easy to point out the faults in someone after they’ve done it, but put yourself in their shoes and see what happens.

In the past, some have complained Superman is too perfect. But give them the flawed hero, and there are complaints that Superman should be perfect. It seems like your Superman deals with the same problem. He seems to want the world to cut him a little bit of slack.

I mean, it’s going to be impossible to please everyone anyway, but I think there is huge potential to provide Superman with the weakness that people crave in the future and expand upon story stuff without offending the lore of Superman. It’s a fine line to tread because we’re in a different age now, but I think we can tell a fascinating, interesting story where Superman has his weaknesses and is also doing the thing which we expect Superman to do. He’s being the ideal. It shouldn’t be easy to tell the story of Superman.
