Enjoyed it too, especially when Colin destroyed ***-pen's dad.

I liked the scene too....not sure Aspen's dad deserved that.

Definitely felt a little slow, but I enjoyed the actors and now I'm curious as to where this goes now that it's all set up.

I don't think it was slow at all...not compared to season one. It's not a fast paced series though, it's a mood that's a slow burn imo, that's what I like about it actually...

Yeah I thought it was a really strong opening episode. This has potential to surpass season 1. I was skeptical, but I actually like Vaughn in a more serious role, he did a great job.

Gotta say though, this show does a good job of showing depression.

I love the mini-series format. Allows for more long form storytelling without having to come up with ridiculous things to fill episodes or seasons. Yes, saying goodbye is bittersweet, but I'd rather have 6-8 great episodes then one or two a season with filler.

I've heard only good things mainly, which is impressive considering how well regarded S1 was.

Gotta hit up my buddy to check out the season opener since I don't have HBO. Is it on HBO Go yet, or will it be?

And the good things are mostly from the first three episodes. I think that's all the critics got.

Agree on the scene with Farrell at Aspen's house being the most memorable.

We've got some delightfully ****ed up characters this season, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop.

These characters can hold their liquor. I enjoyed the episode a lot.

                              Watched it last night.

What happens when the 3 worst people in the world come together to solve a mystery?

Like how it's shaping up. That beginning scene of the contaminated area... ominous.

I heard season 2 started Sunday. I didn't watch season 1 and I didn't have anything to watch since GoT and TWD where between seasons so I decided I was gonna watch season 1 this week so I can get into the show.

What ended up happening was that I watched the whole season on Monday. I couldn't put it down. That season was the most compelling tv show I've seen since Breaking Bad.

Anyways right after that I tried to watch s2 which premiered the night before Monday night. I lasted through the intro. I hated it. While it sounds silly (and it is) I didn't like the vibe of the intro after watching s1.

I put it away for the next two days thinking maybe I was too fresh off s1 and wasn't giving it a fair chance I mean no **** I didn't give it a chance I quit after the intro . So this morning i watched it on HBOgo at work on my phone and I loved it. I'm interested how the dynamic is going to work with 3 clearly ****ed up people trying to solve this murder.
