I saw it in 3D (by accident) tonight.
I usually hate 3D and I was unprepared (wore glasses instead of contacts), but I thought it was well done and fit with the movie.
There were about 10 people in my group and it was pretty well divided on good or bad. I'm not as knowledgeable about comic storylines as some are and it seemed the most critical were those with a lot of knowledge and the people who are typically the most critical of EVERYTHING we see or do. I definitely understand most of the complaints about the movie they presented and they were well constructed, but that **** was seriously killing my vibe on the walk back afterwards.
I thought the movie was a lot of fun. I could find some things I didn't like about it, but what I've learned after finishing the movie and listening to friends is that I don't catch nearly as much as some others do. I'm always saying, "How do you find time to watch the movie between all of these thoughts running through your head ?".
Villain and plot wasn't the best, but loved the characters and walked out of the theater wanting more. I had decided to go in with an open mind and I think that combined with my excitement for the movie really helped.
I would definitely watch this again and I'm all ready mentally adding it to my future collection to watch again one day.
