Um, no that's not an issue. OJ was one of the most liked guys in the sports world/media before the murders. I know you're too young to realize that but he was genuinely thought of as a great guy who could never do wrong. It's why he had those Hertz commercials and went on to do movies. The Juice may not have been the smartest guy in the room but he could charm people to death. (er, pun not intended)

It's awkward now to go back and see him in the Naked Gun movies

Yup.

It's also why people refused to believe(initially)that he actually killed someone because of what you said.

Also re: Cuba, I don't know why I kept laughing everytime they showed the statues of "OJ" and wondered to myself, "I wonder if Cuba took those home with him?".

I have a pretty heavy TV schedule, and after one episode I'm not sure if I'll continue with this one. I do not like Cuba as OJ.

Saw the first couple episodes of Second Chance and I'm really enjoying the show so far. I was a fan of White Collar and SC has Tim Dekay playing a FBI agent again.

I'm 98% over the whole Law enforcement gets help from "individual with special talents/ insights" storyline that show runners keeps rehashing, but I caved and gave Second Chance a shot.

I liked it also. I stopped watching though when it moved to Friday as that is FOX saying its cancelled without canceling it yet.

I didn't watch because the previews made it look like a short lived show, I have a feeling I'm not the only one considering how bad the ratings apparently were. Then I ended up watching a rerun and liked it, now I'm watching the Friday episode and kicking myself for starting to watch a show that has already essentially been put out to pasture

My girlfriend has been watching Lucifer and it's been alright from the episodes I caught. They picked a good lead but not so much for the girl. Will probably keep watching.

The 2nd episode of the American Crime Story was so much better. Entire episode revolves around the chase. I wasn't old enough or anything to know about it, but just seeing this show recap that one moment, definitely can see how this became one of the biggest stories ever and took over TV the entire time. Crazy to imagine what the media coverage might be like if something like that happened today, especially with social media and everything else.

One mini thing that's annoying, is them showing the Kardashian kids in it. They have no relevance to this stuff. But they show one scene with them cheering their dad on TV,and doing some stupid clapping "Kardashian,Kardashian!" chant......

I'm worried about him losing powers, I'm not all that interested in seeing a diminished Lucifer, I want to see him wreck havoc on Earth within the punishment parameters

For those who remember watching the news stories and everything, was the footage shown during the show, actual footage aired on TV when it all happened?

Everything where it was the SDTV look with the black sidebars was actual coverage and i'd say about 90% of the footage that the characters watched on their TVs were real too.

I really like the meticulous detail of the show and I paid attention to the credits while watching this episode. It's nice to see that it's based on a book written by Jeffrey Toobin. He used to be on CNN for YEARS as their legal analyst. (though he wasn't on during the OJ trial that honor goes to Roger Cossack and Greta Van Susteren who's still doing broadcast work for Fox News these days) He's a very details oriented guy and quite thorough but fair so to see that the AHS guys are basing this series on his book and using him as a technical adviser on the series is a GREAT thing.

I'm also not too fond of the whole Kardashian kids thing but that will go away once Bob Kardashian exits the scene.
