I actually thought the commercials for this looked horrendous but the reviews say it's good soWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

I know that. But I still think it will take the same approach as MaM. Meaning they show you the crime, then the process throughout the investigation and trial.Comment

Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
I thought all the actors were quite excellent. Cuba Gooding Jr. has a bit of a tough role in that OJ was pretty much a basket case throughout much of the ordeal. In truth, even though most of the actors are pretty big names they're very well cast. I thought David Schwimmer did well as Bob Kardashian and Travolta reigned in some of his quirks and is nailing Bob Shapiro pretty well.
I look forward to watching the rest of the series.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I watched the first episode and really enjoyed it! They're definitely going in that direction but also filling in some of the details that may have been lost over time. We didn't see much of Johnnie Cochran but I have a feeling some people aren't going to like the characterization of him but it's probably close to the truth.

Edit: I found a pretty cool new show on History. Called Smartest Guy in the Room. It's a game show about three guys who are all geniuses. And one guy gives the other two guys 2 mental challenges. And then they have to complete them. If they complete it successfully they get a point, if they fail the guy that gave the challenge gets a point.Last edited by redsox4evur; 02-03-2016, 11:10 AM.Comment

Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
Don't watch FX or these types of shows, but decided to watch the stuff anyways for the cast(Gooding jr,Schwimmer,Travolta).
I knew nothing about the non OJ people beforehand. lol,I never knew this is one of the first reasons the Kardashians became famous. And "little kimmys room" was basically where the 1st episode in this ended. Next up...the white bronco!
Cuba played the role too good lol.Comment

Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
Cuba playing as OJ is going to be my one downside of the show. I just can't take him serious in THAT role, lol.
I am curious as to who the other options were, if there were any.
Oh and Kim got famous because of Ray J and I'll leave it at that.#RespectTheCultureComment

I also wonder if there were other choices in casting.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Um, no that's not an issue. OJ was one of the most liked guys in the sports world/media before the murders. I know you're too young to realize that but he was genuinely thought of as a great guy who could never do wrong. It's why he had those Hertz commercials and went on to do movies. The Juice may not have been the smartest guy in the room but he could charm people to death. (er, pun not intended)Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
