That was fun.... Skarsgard was outstanding. The young people were amazing in their roles. Definitely surpasses the TV Movie IMO.

The subtle changes from the TV Movie were a welcome addition. This will definitely become a cult classic.

Nice way to end the summer for Hollywood

All of my complaints are about the theater and people and not the movie.

As for the movie itself.. great. I really enjoyed it from start to finish.

              This movie was incredible.

That projector scene? **** Pennywise, man.

Also, something really cool I noticed. Not necessarily a spoiler, but just in case.

IT lived up to all of my hype, that's for sure.

Some of the changes from the novel seemed to be done just to be different, and kind of ruined one of the kids' character completely for me as a huge fan of the novel, but it was still a great movie and better represented the novel as a whole compared to the mini-series.

Pennywise was awesome. The kids were awesome. The house was awesome. Everything was awesome. Despite the changes, it was my favorite novel come to life 99% of the time. Can't wait for Part 2.

                  SUPERB!!!!!!

So happy with this adaptation. We can’t wait for Chapter 2 next year (hopefully?).

Pennywise was brilliant. The kids were all fantastic. Just a great great movie.

Saw this today. Man....it was soooooooo good. From start to finish it was phenomenal. I can not wait for the chapter 2. Just so so good. To me everything about it lived up to my hype train and I couldn't be happier. One of the best book adaptions I've seen. So glad they did the book justice.

I understand the (blank scene) being taken out at the end. It was a big wtf in the books but it did make sense of why she did it, just guarenteed todays generation would not be able to handle that. I mean look at "Mother"

The problems with mother!, in my opinion, have nothing to do with the ending. It just has to do with the fact that it was made as a film. I quite liked the ending of it, though the film pissed me off a lot as well (as it meant to).

I think the It scene you are talking about would throw people for a loop a lot more.

I dont mean show it on screen like a porn flick, rather than just imply it happened.

And yes todays generation. I should have to explain that part.
