Everyone has the right to their own opinion but I loved this movie. I'd rank it as my favorite horror movie that I've ever seen. Sure, there were some differences between the film and the book, but that's true for most adaptations. It was pretty accurate.

I'm holding off on a Blu-ray purchase because a director's cut is coming out later this year, which will include some deleted scenes that never made it in. Maybe those will follow the book more closely in terms of moments, dickey?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Stephen King's "It" (2017)
There's some details starting to pop up for Chapter 2 concerning the story - what I read yesterday was discussing Adult Mike's character and the Ritual of CHUD.
Spoiler
Basically the Ritual and the extra-dimensional stuff is "in." We'll see how elaborate it goes. Chapter 1 basically ignored all the "cosmic" **** so them shoe-horning it all into Chapter 2 will be interesting.
Adult Mike will basically be a librarian hermit type - the toll of staying in Derry and researching IT will have apparently obvious effects on him. I also read he'll make use of drugs in order to "help him think" about how to destroy IT (ala the Smokehouse).

I absolutely can't wait for Chapter Two. I loved the first one.
