Yeah, but they'll keep negotiating even if the channels get pulled late Thursday/Friday.

Didn’t see a thread posted but is anyone else having issues with HBOMax freezing/crashing when you attempt to rewind or even while you’re watching a movie/show?

Yes! I feel each time using the app is a flip of the coin whether it's going to crash, have saved a viewed program, or even be logged in. Of course, logging in is a lengthy process as so many apps are. Frustrating!

Only problems we've have with HBO Max is the audio mixes being terrible on some things. Hulu is the app currently giving us the most problems right now with freezing and buffering randomly.

Think were gonna add Peacock if channels leave today.

                  Re: Cord cutting

One of the issues, from what I've read, is NBC insisted on YTTV adding Peacock. They tried it with Cox earlier in the year too. So signing up for Peacock is rewarding NBC.

I still think they'll reach an agreement by Sunday. I have to think the NFL isn't happy at the thought of its marquee game not being available on the #1 steaming platform, although I've been wrong before.

Probably blasphemous, but I don't really care about Brady vs. Patriots. If I have NBC, I'll probably watch some of it. If not, no big deal; I'll have more time for PS4. And I'll go the antenna route the next time the 49ers are on SNF.

Anyone heard if deal was made? I see channels are still on here, but I bet will be gone tomorrow if no deal.

I think the deadline is midnight, although I don’t know if that’s Eastern or Pacific.

Edit: There has been an extension.

“NBCUniversal and YouTube TV have agreed to a short extension while parties continue talks. NBCUniversal will not go dark on YouTube TV at midnight eastern tonight.” No word yet on how long that extension will be.

Get an antenna for NFL. Stop letting all these services continue to screw you over.

Good. Stupid they push it to the last second. I wonder how many people canceled their subs and how that affected negotiations. YTTV or maybe it was NBC was running those ads HEAVY. They benefit each other. Even though each service can stand on its own, they’re better together.

YTTV is probably my choice when I do finally pull the trigger because it seems the most full, though this would’ve been a big minus on them. For now, shared login’s to different services is working out, but it can be a PITA.
