No, no reason to complain. You're paying less than what we pay for just Dish.

We have a landline phone and you don't though, so neener-neener!

If you have an American Express card look and see if you are eligible for an automatic $5 cashback using it on Hulu.

Called last night and canceled DirecTV.

We are now Playstation Vue subscribers.

          DirecTV = $125 month
          Playstation Vue = $65 month

Only 4 CONS to doing so are:

          1. NBC is not live but rather on-demand. This is fine except for sports. We got an HD antenna for that and we get channel 4 through that.

          2. We lose MTV and Comedy Central = We only very sparingly watched MTV and never watched Comedy Central. Stefanie can watch her MTV shows on their site with limited commercial interruption though.

          3. I had to buy a Firestick and a Roky Express for our "not-so-smart" TVs

          4. We won't be able to get NFL Sunday Ticket, but honestly our Cowboys/Saints games are usually on TV anyways.

However, there are other PROS besides the $60 a month savings include:

          1. Can watch two or three shows at once with a screen splitter that is built into the software. This is great for sports.

          2. Watch TV anywhere actually WORKS flawlessly every single time unlike DirecTV which almost never worked or had issues when it did.

          3. Picture quality is slightly superior to DirecTV as well.

          4. Closed captions are highly configurable and look razor sharp and don't screw up like DirecTV's often did..

If you're thinking about doing this and have questions let me know! We didn't take this move lightly as we watch a lot of TV.

Just a note that there's a HUGE amount of upgrading going on in 2019 for rural customers internet this year called CAF II. I work for Frontier and this is the biggest bulk of our workload is upgrading rural customers across the country.

So don't fret, it's quite possible you may have a lot more options soon..

What is your internet speed? I have 150mbps, but Comcast is pricey for that.. I'd like to move down a notch but I don't want to risk my streaming quality with Vue.

I'm at 100/10 through a local company called WOW! Everything streams great, sometimes I stream to the TV while I watch sports on my iPad too with no issue so I don't think I'm really taxing my internet much.

I'm at 40/5 in the country using Hulu Live TV and living it. Works like a charm!

Chromecasts on both TVs, and I can also watch it on my Switch!

Loved WOW when I lived in Columbus. Even years ago it was fast and reliable at a fair price.

I've had Directv Now for a while and I love it. Sports are great. No lag or pixielation.

I tried Hulu Live because they had my local sports channels for the same price as I'm paying for DTVN and sports were horrible. I'm just gonna upgrade to the next tier with DTVN when baseball starts to get my local sports channels to watch the Indians.

I think you are just seeing things with that. Your TV could also be using different settings based on input. DTV and streaming shouldn't be any different.

I'm interested in what is coming, but until I can watch like I do now, I won't change. Need to change channels instantly, pause multiple channels and flip between them, record things and keep them as long as I want.

I'm worried cheap pricing is done though. Everyone wants their piece and that means having to pay individually for a lot of channels or streaming costing the same as cable.

Cancelled Direct TV with ATT internet and landline. Ended up getting Hulu with Live TV and Netflix. Should have done this years ago. Only thing I will miss is the MLB Network as I get all the local live stuff unlike PS Vue.

Not all locations have all the locals.

ps vue uses alot of bandwith not necessary speed im guessing because they try to push out 1080p at 60fps on just about every channel compared to other services

No, it's pretty clear actually from the ticker on news stations like Fox News, CNN etc. DirecTV has a tiny bit of jaggies/fuzziness, it's not hugely bad or anything but you can see it. Playstation Vue has no jaggies and is crystal clear.
