College GameDay is still quality, so I'll watch that each week. Outside the Lines I don't always watch, but still enjoy it. Outside of that, I'm only watching ESPN for the live sports.

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
The present day PrimeTime is the abomination of desolation compared to it's old iteration
Do they still do E:360? That was pretty good from what I saw but yeah OTL and College GameDay are the two best non-live sports programming on the network. Even PTI has slid into mediocrity.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
Those two were the reason I'd watch the NFL Primetime recap, especially the Berman sound effects and nicknames.
As far as the daily shows go, it seems like you need to pick which show or shows you personally like otherwise it's just watching the same topics brought up over and over for 4 hours, it's easier to like one show or two and ignore the rest.
Which brings me to High Noon, I... I like itBomani and Pablo may not yell at each other but they seem to have fun and obviously they're both pretty damn smart, I love it as the lead in to Highly Questionable

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
I don't really watch NFL Network outside of games that are on and Good Morning Football. I can wake up and get ready easy to GMFB, but I'm never glued to it either. Just a nice crew with good chemistry is all.
They're also the first on Sunday morning for pregame stuff so I'll defer to them first then the others after, but that's just luck of the draw on that front.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
Searched "NFL Primetime" and happy to see they had a couple full episodes of some mid-90s Primetime episodes.
Awesome how the songs they used are just ingrained in my memory and I can hum along even now like I always did.
I just loved the timeslot too. Perfect bridge to the night game.
It's so nice watching this clip and not hearing "fantasy"-this, "fantasy"-that.Comment

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
I love NFL Network and some of their goofy stuff. It works there. For some reason, ESPN’s equivalent NFL shows come off annoying to me. I’d rather laugh at Warner, Mooch (dude is a hilarious spaz), Eisen and Irvin then ... who’s with ESPN now? Keyshawn, Ditka, Carter, Moss?
GMFB cracks me the heck up.
I go to the internet for my more in depth analysis based information. It’s much easier to present more substantial information online then in a time-constrained TV slot.
Times have just changed, and the way we consume sports and how ESPN and other media think we want to consume it have changed with it. You find what you enjoy and roll with it. Maybe one day ESPN will cease to exist due to this shift, but I don’t see that too soon.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
A sign that you are old and irrelevant. You complain about the personalities and the characters they play in ESPN, but you long for Bergman and Jackson, and Olberman and Patrick. Those guys are old and gone.
The new guys are for the younger generation. ESPN didn’t get bad as much as we got old and the way we consume media has changed.Comment

I’ve heard the new guys aren’t much better either. Too dry and “try hard to sound cool/down with the culture”-esq, if that makes sense.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: ESPN Cleaning House
NFL Primetime was great because it had a simple format and great music.
I don’t watch anything on ESPN outside of games. The only thing I would watch if it didn’t overlap with work is The Jump. I’ve enjoyed the bits and pieces of it that I’ve seen but that also depends on who is on. Brian Windhorst is an automatic channel changer for me.
Count me in the camp of people that never understood why people will continue to watch something when they think the person talking is a troll ( Bayless, Stephen A, Cowherd, etc).
If I really want to watch some type of sports talk in the morning before I go to work, I’ll watch the Dan Patrick Show."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman

They were good shows but I would never watch old sports shows.
I already know the outcome of what they are talking about.
I have never heard of anyone wanting to watch all sports shows.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment
