    What is Jay Williams smoking?
It is actually the only way they get them played. They isolate everyone, test them, and no one gets on the ship without being isolated for 14 days and cleared.

That way they would be sure that no one has it and they shouldn't be able to catch it.

Seems like a logistics nightmare and that's assuming the family members are excluded.

I've never been on a cruise ship or a navy ship but I'm assuming there's not a lot of space for an NBA style court. Then of course there would be issues someone could have COVID-19 and they'd be screwed. This is a terrible idea.

There is plenty of room for multiple courts. The plan would involve isolation and testing for 14 days of everyone before they get on the ship. If they don't have it getting on the ship, then it should be the safest place to be. No one gets on the ship after they start, so the virus doesn't get on the ship.

As a cruise ship expert it is possible to happen though it would require some work so extremely unlikely. The cruise line that it would happen with would be Carnival since its owned by Mikey Arison that owns the Miami Heat.

It wouldn't happen on the newer bigger ships so your looking at the older fantasy class ships are one of the other cruise lines he owns. The decks on those are around 850ft length and 100 ft width.

Every ship has basketball courts, but they aren't full court. I've played basketball on a lot of cruise ships and its tricky to shoot even when they aren't moving. Since You have a lot of wind and your high up (around deck 11).

A lot of the space from the decks it would happen on are taken up by restaurants and cabins. Then you have swimming pools and other random things on those decks so its not just a gigantic flat service.

There have been college basketball games played on aircraft carriers.

Austin Thornton and Adreian Payne for the Green...good team that sorta underachieved.

Is this the thread to mention ESPN.com has officially become the "watch rich people with big enough homes to literally skate and take batting practice in 'survive' the quarantine?" Professional athletes are so just like the rest of us!

I've never been one to defend ESPN, but I'm not sure what any sports network should be doing right now.

Yet ESPN still gets it $9 per cable subscriber even with no sports on. There was some petition to refund that money but it’s not going to happen.

Literally anything but act like athletes have it just as bad as common people. And how about make ESPN+ free for the time being if they want to pretend to be all altruistic?

And another thing, Scott Van Pelt's "Salute to Seniors" has to be the corniest shtick they could have come up with. One segment would have been enough but to milk it every week is too much

And yes I'm a cynical bastard but I deserve to voice my opinions on this forum too before anyone attacks me

Apart from the salary cap perspective I've never understood the focus on player salaries outside of the actual budget for teams. Unless the players are actively campaigning to limit YOUR wages who cares. I understand they're the visual of the league and very easy to attach to as being that image, but in all reality the owners are the ones everybody needs to be giving **** about money coming in and out especially if they are receiving government funds or breaks.
