Look up who their highest earners are. This was bound to happen(as it does every year if we’re being honest).

Yea there is a pretty obvious trend.

Had to go look up what Joe and Troy were making for 5 months of work and it’s a LOT.

Between them, McAfee, Woj and SAS, that’s a lot of money tied up into those 5 and it’s not like ESPN is printing money like they used to.

        Break the network.

        Watch them crumble.

        Fantastic news.

I miss good ole repeatable Sportscenter and not tons of talking heads with stupid hot takes just for views.

            Re: ESPN Cleaning House

ESPN (and all sports media) is gonna continue to downsize as people cord-cut more and more.

Just the reality of everything moving to digital/streaming while the profit margins shrink.

Sucks for talented people to be let go, while the hot-take, talking heads are kept around.

              Re: ESPN Cleaning House

I only care for ESPN because of the leagues getting TV deals with them. Being that cord cutters have changed that ESPN is gonna struggle if the leagues decide to look for other streaming partners or go over the air.

I've never understood the business model of having something like eight studio "analysts" each making millions of dollars per year.

ESPN thought the good times were just gonna keep going. I remember when they first spent all that money on all those massive sets, with those ridiculous green screen effects. Now no one wants to watch their programming.

Hopefully this is the return of more MLB games and Baseball Tonight, lol.

Maybe a little Stump the Schwab?

So who’s going to replace KJM on the am drive time slot?

                                Shannon Sharpe?

Wouldn’t be mad if he paired up with RGIII.
