Unfortunately for that, Namor's rights are still with Universal. Also unfortunate that Hulk's rights are there as well, but unlike Hulk, they have full rights to Namor whereas they only have rights to Hulk's solo movies so Marvel can use him in other character's movies and teamups like Avengers.
Not only that, Black Panther officially passed up The Dark Knight as the seventh-highest grossing movie ever and the highest grossing solo superhero movie in history at the domestic box office, passing up The Dark Knight's $534 million with $562 million. Next up for BP is seeing if it can run down Star Wars: The Last Jedi as the sixth highest grossing film of all time at $619.5 million and The Avengers as the fifth highest grossing and highest grossing superhero film of all time at $623.4 million. There are some analysts who think the film has the chance to climb high enough to pass Jurassic World's $652.3 million and Titantic's $659.4 million as the third highest grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office.
