Just saw it with the wife and kids. Loved it. Great story, great acting, just enough action. Really well done. Michael B Jordan is a really solid actor. I'll watch that guy in anything. Boseman was great too. Hell pretty much all of them were rock solid. Really loved everything about this movie and I'm now even more hyped for Infinity War.

Black Panther (2018)
I walked away from this movie with the same feeling as I did with Dark Knight. Great story, not much action but I didn’t care. It had just enough similar to Batman Begins. (Batman is my favor super hero)
Michael B Jordan have so much charisma and star quality. He made an afterthought villain relevant. The woman also did a great job.
Side note...I would have loved to see Wesley Snipes as the father of T’Challa.

Black Panther (2018)
Damn I forgot to post my recap after catching this but it won’t be different from anything that was already said.
Dope, dope, dope, dope movie from beginning to end. Felt like they struck that balance between not a lot of action and not a lot of dialogue, if that makes sense.
Michael B Jordan doesn’t disappoint as usual. [emoji1490]
Left the movies wanting to car surf the car like the Panther did but my girl wasn’t going for that, nor was gravity as that would be a lose situation for a 6’5 dude lol.
Already bought my ticket to go see this again on Monday.[emoji1478][emoji1478][emoji1478]
Spoiler
I’m guessing T’Challa buying that property in Oakland is going to play a part in the next Black Panther movie, would I be correct?

Re: Black Panther (2018)
Spoiler
It'll give him a base in America so I'm sure he'll be doing more traveling in the future.
My biggest takeaway was that it takes a foreign nation to come in and provide adequate aid to those in need when their own country isn't interested in doing so.
I can only imagine the ****show of that actually happening.

Re: Black Panther (2018)
Great cast, great movie.
The pacing was near perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that Martin Freeman's character was played straight and non-campy.
Michael B Jordan was a no nonsense bad guy and Shuri needs to pop up in all the MCU projects.Comment

Re: Black Panther (2018)
Just got back from seeing it, easily sits on top of marvel movies for me. This and Winter Soldier are easily the best marvel movies easily.
The pacing was great and the visuals spectacular. The imagination to infuse culture and technology as they did was awesome to see. I loved all the mixed African cultures with the addition of the visuals and music, it really made the movie stand out.
Michael B Jordons character I found good, not amazing as many are saying. His motivation was spot on, but his end game was somewhat weak in my opinion, it worked on a basic level; Let's reinforce all of our soldiers to overthrow governments, but then I'm going to become a tyrant myself. I do have to say, out of all of the marvel characters, Killmonger and Loki do rein supreme, the rest are bland.
Realistically, I don't know where you go from here with a sequel, everything felt perfectly wrapped by the end.
With Infinity War out in a few months, I do wonder how they're going to treat all these characters now since they're including so many more then the average number they had for the past 3. Dividing the screen time of each of these characters won't be easy. I don't envy the writers at all here.Comment

Re: Black Panther (2018)
I didn't like Favreau's directing in the first Iron Man film. He did provide us the iconic "inside the helmet" cam for Stark, but beyond that I found it bland and uninspiring. Final battle sucked, too... a general feature that seems to exist in several of the MCU and DCEU films. Though IM1 was still a very good kick-start to the MCU, and I would probably put it in the top five as well.
I have yet to see Black Panther, though.
