Beware for *******s out there. I'm hoping it's not true but I've seen big spoilers posted in random comment sections on Facebook and Twitter. I saw one spoiler twice, once in a comment section on FB about an NBA game and another on Twitter in something sports-related.

Now I'm really hoping what I read is false but of course now I can't unsee the spoiler in my mind and I'm gonna be looking for that spoiler during the movie when it comes out. I hate people sometimes.

If I was reading a Star Wars article or Star Wars post, then yeah that's a likely target for an ******* to post a spoiler. But an NBA post? Nah, didn't expect to see it there. That's why I couldn't even stop reading before I realized I was reading a spoiler.

            "It's true...all of it."

I grew up with Star Wars, it was my childhood. I love the OT, grew to accept the PT (Because of the Clone Wars cartoon) and generally don't like the ST. TROS will be the first Star Wars movie I won't see in the theater because...I just don't care about the franchise like I used to. Oh well, life goes on, unless you're an original trilogy character then, of course, you have to be miserable and die.

With that said, I have read all the spoilers and the recent trailers have shown that the spoilers I read were true. Ugh...

a dozen more days. at the start of Force Awakens Lor San Tekka (Max von Sydow) says ''This will begin to make things right.'' It held such great promise over what became of Star Wars from Phantom Menace to Attack of the Clones to Revenge of the Sith. Rogue One continued on the right path IMO but while Last Jedi wasn't a bad movie it didn't jibe with my idea of where Star Wars should be heading. I hope Rise of Skywalker ''begins'' to ''Make SW Great Again''.

Dude I don't know about you all but I can't wait for this. I didn't hate or love Last Jedi. Thought it was cool. But I'm super stoked for the final chapter. 42 years in the making. 5 years longer then I've been alive. Can't wait.

                    Re: Star Wars: Episode IX

I honestly can't think of a movie I've ever bought advanced tickets for and been this indifferent about (and I've been to a lot of midnight/opening night showings). I think back to earlier this year movies like End Game, Alita, or even How to Train Your Dragon (don't judge me!), and I was amped up for months leading up to those movies. I honestly forgot, until my wife reminded me earlier, that this movie comes out in a little less than 2 weeks (kind of sad since we even have tickets to the Thursday night premiere)

I've enjoyed the trailers for Ep IX, but TLJ has just set my expectations so low for this trilogy that this movie falls off my radar unless I'm reminded of it.

Holding out hope to be wow'd and amazed though.

Got tickets for opening night thursday the 19th at 6pm in 3d at a theater that has food and not just like popcorn i mean. I love 3d but everone i know hates it even though i have heard its about 50/50 that like 3d and dont. I guess i just don't know any of the 50 that do like it. Its really annoying that they don't. Have basically not seen a 3d movie in years because of that. With this being the last of the skywalker saga i had to see it in 3d. So, i am going by my self. I can't wait! If i love it and i think i will i will see it again with some friends.

So reviews started coming out about a hour ago and not good at a 56% on RT after only 43 reviews. I was expecting around 90 like the 2 before it. Of course fans hated TLJ but critics loved it so yeah.

I think this was always going to be a hard movie to do because of TLJ, and some of the early reactions have hinted towards that being the case.

                            Guess I'll find out tomorrow

I don't dislike TLJ for the same reasons other do (and in fact I own it), and for me the biggest imprint for Skywalker onto me will hinder on the directing. For me, Abrams normally doesn't disappoint on that front, and for me Johnson had.

We'll see, though. I may love this, I may hate this. I won't let the reviews dictate that for me, though.
