I disagree... They didn`t say one positive thing about the 360! NOT ONE!! I could name atleast 4 good things about the 360 and I still found the PS3 to be more impressive! These people are Sony a$$kissers.. plain and simple.

A journalist simply reports and lets the public decide. The people at G4 don`t do this!

After watching this special, I am starting to question alot of Microsoft's moves.

Like someone pointed out, why the hell are they all over the map on what they want to do/who they want to market the console to. Like one of the guys on the panel said, why the f*ck do I want to buy a skate park for Tony Hawk from someone who has never played the game???? give me a f*ckin break

The systems are going to almost equal. It will be the devlopers that make the diffrence. The best looking game in this generation is RE4 on the gamecube. I like my XBOX live so XBOX 360 will be the first next gen system I will buy.

I'm not watching G4 so I'm not in a position to comment. I'm just saying that it's not outside of the realm of possibility that they were genuinely underwhelmed by what they saw from the Xbox 360.

I think its to early to tell. The PS3 was all movies. We will see maybe one killer app for each system in the first year and then Year 3 we will start seeing some great looking games.

I would say that PS3 should have the advantage because as seen in the past the PS2 library was filled with many more games that were considered great by the masses, yes XBOX had Halo and a couple other but really the PS2 exclusive games were hands down to what microsoft put out, and if they can keep that advantage next consoles than I see them winning again.

True but that is the developer. We dodnt know how DOA4 will look on the PS3. I mean if you look at the Dreamcast DOA it didnt look that much worse than the PS2. Some even said it look better because the Dreamcast had less jaggies.

The point of the whole thing was not "who" was selling the skate park but rather it was a case in-point of what the system 'CAN' do. The 360 is an awesome piece of hardware but i`m fairly certain that devz won`t take full advantage of it. There are quite a few things the xbx is capable of but devz are`nt taking advantage of of it, why should I think it will be any different for the 360.

But getting back to the topic.... Sessler, Webb and the rest of them had chances to make comments on 'WHAT' the 360 can do but instead they bash it and say why they "won`t" buy it.

It was just bad coverage.... thats all!

For example? If it wasnt for my imports my PS2 wouldnt be used. I own all 3 consoles and each console does something well while other things not so well.The last killer app for the PS2 was GT4, I just waited for FORZA. I like online play.

I see what you're saying, but G4 nor myself are the only ones making the point of selling skate parks, but Microsoft is using that as one of the selling points. And I can see how it would turn some people off if they thought "They are trying to stretch themselves so thin with a bunch of stuff that I'll never give two s*its about."

I just think they are going about the marketing wrong, and you can't take that big of a risk especially when you aren't going to be the best looking system out.

Grand Theft Auto series..... God of War..... The Jax series...... and there are many more that I'm sure you would disagree are great games but I think they are good.

I took it more as covering themselves for situations like the PS2 had where some PSX games didnt work. Who knows though I could be wrong.

I suppose I could say the same thing about the PS3`s cell chip. Why should I care about the PS3`s cell chip? Is it going to allow me to do everything the 360`s hardware can do? No... but it will aledgedly give me better graphics but thats only if Devz can tap into that power.

These electronic shows are for hard-core gamers. Can you honestly tell me that most gamers even know what anti-aliasing is or 512 megs is or what the hell is 60 million polygons per second?

People that go to these shows know what this garbage is, but I gurantee you that the average gamer (which is the largest market) doesn`t know jack sh$t about all that technical stuff.

So here we have 2 companies (sony and MS) telling us how great there hardware is. And I think both pieces of hardware were impressive, but the big question is... Who had the best software? I think Sony has won this part of the show so far but I do think both systems look very impressive.

The point is... MS is marketing to the hard-core gamer which is most likely going to be there target audience. There was no reason to bash the 360. Instead, I would rather listen to people talk about what the thing can do and then make a decision on whether or not to buy it.

I don`t need commentators to tell me what they`re going to buy or not buy.... because quite frankly.. I don`t give a rat`s a$$ what they buy, I just want 'ALL' the info on 360 and Ps3.

Anything and everything Sony does this year at the show will be praised and wowed over, period.
