The point is... MS is marketing to the hard-core gamer which is most likely going to be there target audience. There was no reason to bash the 360. Instead, I would listen to people talk about what the thing can do and then make a decision on whether or not to buy it. I don`t need commentators to tell me what they`re going to buy or not buy.... because quite frankly.. I don`t give a rat`s a$$ what they buy, I just want 'ALL' the info on 360 and Ps3.

I don't think they're marketing that hard to the hard-core gamer by what they've shown so far. It's so early on though that with the more time that passes the more we'll find out.

well.. I think at these shows they`re trying to sell hard-core gamers but the way the 360 is setup they`re trying to grab casual gamers too.

They made it too obvious that they were riding sony. I know some of the xbox 360 games did not blow me away but games like ghost recon 3 and gears of war looked great. I would of at least thought they would of praised the games that looked good instead of just nit picking what they felt like.

i dont mind the bias opinion she made about the xbox

that being said i'm a ps man always have always will be but i do know the truths i know that the xbox gaphically is better and can do more things than the ps2 but the controller lost it for me completely sad but true and i know alot of people who think that way and we all need to be shot but to me if the games are going to very similar on both consoles might as well go with the the one that feels the best the ps2

I'm an xbox fan, and personally hope this system rises above the rest for this next gen, and many more to come.

But what she was saying wasn't exactly far from the truth. I was watching th Dead Or Alive 4 video clip and I honestly thought it looked slightly better than DOA3, not enough of a difference to warrant purchasing a new console over.

The PGR3 video couldn't have possibly been real time footage.

It seems like Microsoft is willing to sacrifice alot of eye candy just so they can come out first and try to close the gap between themselves and sony.

Of course they failed to mention that the games aren't even using anything close to the capacity of the 360.

That would be me. I just dont get how a controller can ruin your gaming experience. How many diffrent controllers have you played with in your life? For me, I've went from Atari to NES to Genesis to SNES to N64 to PS1 and many more in between. Lets not forget my ventures off into PC gaming. And you mean to tell me that its hard to get adjusted to a simple controller?

Not tryna talk down to you...more like ranting. Cause my guy refuses to get into some of the best games XBOX has to offer because he cant handle a controller. And its not like the controller is completely diffrent than its PS2 counterpart. Biggest diffrences being the Trigger bottons and the B&W bottons.

It has to be more than that, it just has to. I can understand the multiplatform games, fine. But why neglect dozens of quality titles because of something so small as a controller. Especially when we've went through countless systems and diffrent control schemes already.

I'm the type of guy that would force myself to adjust if I was interested in a game. For instance, I honestly hate the Gamecube controllers. Cant stand em. But I work around it if I really wanna get into one of its games.

Then we got the ones who refuse to play with the 3rd party controllers like the Madcatz brand. WTF..its the same controller! A lil larger, yes but its the same damn thing as the original. *sigh* I just dont get it. As long as the bottons are'nt sticky I'm happy.

Besides, the Xbox controller ended up just being a sturdier, more comfortable version of the Dreamcast controller, so if you had a DC, there was nothing to adjust to.

The toughest controller for me to used to was the N64 controller. I still wonder what the hell nintendo was thinking with that damn "C" botton(s). Everything else was fine. Same goes for the GC controller. Does the "A" botton really need to be that large? And whats up with the hidden shoulder botton that rarely has any use? And why is the control pad no bigger than my pinky finger? Nintendo really needs to cut it out with the unique concepts.

I donno, experiementing with PC gaming made me immune to controller issues. Or it could of been my brief stint with this big-ol-sumbitch=

Here's a possibility to consider. Instead of screaming "bias!", maybe you should look at the less than stellar job MS has done of showing off the Xbox 360. If the few brief seconds of actual gameplay MS showed us on MTV are any indication, a lot of the games currently under development are seriously underwhelming. If the G4 people seem less than enthusiastic, that's MS's fault. It's their job to create a buzz, and to date they haven't done a very good job of that.

Well when the hosts of the show ignore the facts then it leads people to believe that they are biased in some way.
