Best Buy in Crestwood.......the Best Buy in Orland Park was all sold out.

By the way, I was wondering why HARD BOILED is getting released in HD on the PS3 disc. Weinstein owns the distribution rights for this film in North America through their division : Dragon Dynasty.

The Weinstein company is a supporter of HD-dvd, NOT Blu-ray! . Midway must have really convinced them to put a High definition version included with their stranglehold game on Blu-ray or it could be that the movie can only be released on the PS3 game while HD-DVD gets the stand alone movie.

Finished Chapter 1, having a real blast with the game.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

So, for you guys with the game, how are you liking it?

I almost picked it up today, but I'm still deciding if I want this or MoH:Airborne.

          Any impressions are appreciated.

I love it alot. One of the better single player games I've ever played. It's really satisfying to try to shoot something to take someone out instead of shooting the person. There's a scene in the second level or so where you can shoot something and take out five or six guys at once. This is a great game and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's well worth 60 bucks and it's more than worth 48 bucks at Circuit City. I'm getting Airborne as well tomorrow.

Thanks dave. I went ahead and bought it. I've played through the first 2 levels, the first being the one from the demo.

I like it a lot. It is just plain fun, which I think many games are lacking these days. Whenever I pull of a great move, like shooting explosive barrels that take out 5 guys, I feel really satisfied. You get a sense of accomplishment. The controls are fluid, and the action is frantic. I also like the cover system. Its not very unique, but it works well.

Great game so far. Definately worth the price of admission. Especially when that price is $48.

Re: New Game: STRANGLEHOLD w/ Chow Yun-Fat

I like the totaling at the end of each stage on damages.....I know I played the demo alot, but when I got the game.

That first stage gave me problems during the boss battle. And I got a C+ rating. The second stage was 10x longer, and I got a B rating.....

I mean come on, what did I do wrong on the first stage. I'm loving the game so far.

And thanks to CC, I saved alot on the purchase.

9/10 on this game, and I don't know what the reviewers had a problem with on voice acting. Its perfectly fine. Lots of replay value too, just to find all the secrets. You can miss alot on a stage, just because your trying to survive.

I take it you dont watch very many John Woo films. The ones that came here in America dont count. Hong Kong film buffs like the cantonese track with english subs.

I have every John Woo film ever made (you should see my photo gallery on myspace)...trust me...I watch more asian films than I do american and any other.....

I'm just saying...overall, the voices aren't hideous..as they were trying to state in some reviews.....Just sounds like asians with good english, but accents remain in place......

Nothing to do with his films. There is so much dialogue in this game, no one wants to read that much. I wouldn't mind, but thats a minority.
